I'll kick of with

"getting your colours done".

I've often wanted a man bag.

If they weren't so gay or Italian i might have got one by now.

It's just that on an evening out, she starts off with "Can you just carry this cos i'll just lose a bag if i take one....."

An hour later i have swollen pockets that look like i have two massive bulbous bollocks.

Why can't womens clothing have pockets?

Kathyis6incheshigh · 04/12/2007 11:32

Well sometimes they do have pockets, but they are either too tight to fit anything in (eg jeans) or it spoils the line if you do.

luciemule · 04/12/2007 11:35

who cares what the car DOES and what the 0-60 time is, just what colour it's going to be!

EricL · 04/12/2007 11:36

You're right katy - i should edit that as 'useable pockets'....................

EricL · 04/12/2007 11:39

I don't care about the colour as long as it isn't something bright like yellow or white - it's the size of the engine and the bhp that matters.

Getting a new car this week - i just look for a 2 litre turbo as a minimum now.

HappyDaddy · 04/12/2007 11:41

EricL, anything less than 2 litre turbo is clearly a woman's car.

I got a great laptop bag, leather and doesn't look too laptoppy. Got loads of little pockets too.

It's a piece of engineering, a technological wonder. It should be treated with the awe it deserves, not like just another handbag.

The most important thing about a car is whether or not it has a good heating system

I don't understand how shopping can be fun. Can someone please explain?

UnquietDad · 04/12/2007 14:56

I don't know why, but I am totally lacking the "car gene". I used to love playing with toy ones as a child, and still do with DS, but the real thing doesn't excite me at all.

HappyDaddy · 04/12/2007 15:05

What's the best feature on my car? The heated windscreen, handsdown.

mollymawk · 04/12/2007 15:07

Daddster - can't help you there. Shopping is not fun. It is tedious.
Once I enjoyed a shopping trip - to M&S with DS1 aged 4. He tried to make me buy a black and white furry dress so I could "look like a snow leopard"

EricL · 04/12/2007 16:22

You're right - shopping. Don't understand it at all.

My wife hates me coming along. I just see the first thing and say 'that one' like that guy in the wheelchair in Little Britain.

Sorry to gatecrash...
BigGitHoHoHoDad, we know that you guys don't listen. We just need to talk about things to get it off our minds.

I don't expect DH to listen and it works beautifuly as I can do whatever I want and when DH complains about something I can say - "I told you I was gonna do it, you should have stopped me then...."

(and maybe I said it, maybe I didn't - he wasn't listening anyway...)
