Susan Sarandon is now 60 and yet still very sexy.

I feel a bit dirty just typing that.

I think when you get to a certain age your taste buds go, so really you could be drinking anything and not know it was piss...
Does that mean I will be moving up to vindaloos just to keep the same taste when I get older?

However how many of them have had surgery etc, probably all the American ones have.
Whereas goood old Dot and Nora are all natural

It is, isn't it? Some horrid botch-job. She looks like a prototype Michael Jackson. She'd have been better off ageing gracefully like Honor Blackman and Helen Mirren. Knots Landing doesn't seem that long ago!!

Which blokes look good for their age? I'm hoping that I can look as good as Bruce Boxleitner when I am nearly 60! He has allowed himself to go a little grey but just looks generally very fit (in the old-fashioned sense of the word!).

UQD are you going to write lots of attractive older women into your next novel so that if it gets made into a film you will get to meet lots of well-preserved 60 year olds? You could set it in an old people's home. Where there is a beauty contest.

Gawd, yes, Pfeiffer. Now we are talking class! You just know she will still look lovely in ten years' time. Just a little greyer, but she has that classic bone structure.
