felicity kendal is too mumsy i think and her voice is annoying..so if she was a bit sexier and didn't speak she would be ok

No Kendal suffers from hamster-cheek syndrome. Cute, but not sexy and a total turn off when combined with hamster voice.

Judi has never been prettier than she is in Cranford. Those lacy bonnets really suit her.

Felicity Kendal's look is too cheeky and girly to work well in an older woman IMO. You need a bit of dignity to carry off the glamorous 60 year old look.

Joanna Lumley is 61 and so is Sally Field - but only just.
Lulu is just 59 and Suzi Quatro is only 57.

An archived article from Times Online said Juliet Cadzow (aka Edie McCredie) was 57 but that was 3 years ago so she'd be 60 now.

so it looks like around 60 is the cut off point for famous people..what is it for ordinary women?

lulu is a silly silly cow,t totally full of herself, and has a pseudo american (loud too) accent. She used to come into Rigby and Peller, (name dropping ) where i used to work.
