how does anyone not wee in the bath?...i get into warm water and it happens, i have no say in the matter.....even if i have been before i get in i seem to find a bit from somewhere....do you non- weers do some special excercises?

nappyaddict · 24/11/2007 02:23

ewwwwwww yes i know wee is sterile so its not that its unhygenic but it smells

ruty · 24/11/2007 09:13

please don't tell me you all wee in swimming pools...

Spagblog · 24/11/2007 09:19

wee is only sterile for a very short while. 30secs or so.
I was told to wee in the bath when I had the kids, it stopped the pain!
I now find that unless I concentrate hard on not weeing, it comes very naturally.

EricL · 24/11/2007 11:04

Do some swimming pools not have that dye in the water that turns bright blue if someone wees?

Or is that yet another urban myth that i have fell for?

nappyaddict · 24/11/2007 12:29

showers i think i can handle, after all it gets washed away straight away ... but a bath? yuck!

ruty · 24/11/2007 15:23

children must pee in the pool all the time so must be urban myth Eric. Unfortunately.

ruty · 24/11/2007 15:23

Probably in Sweden they have a pee radar or something.

rantinghousewife · 24/11/2007 15:24

Can't..bring...myself...to...do...it!
dh does it all the time

HappyDaddy · 30/11/2007 09:42

I don't piss in the shower.

I'm usually too busy having one off the wrist!

Daddster · 02/01/2008 10:49

At University I had a study bedroom with a sink. Well, the loo was too far to walk to...

Agathon · 02/01/2008 23:01

Get a shower over the bath. That way whatever happens in the bath can be rinsed away in a cleansing stream immediately. Also, it does not matter whether there is any piss in the bath as:
a)skin is water tight
b)I don't drink bath water
c)The dilution would render toxins harmless anyway.

And regarding having one off the wrist - don't you find it sticks to you in such a way that only the harshest of power showers would remove it. Especially from hairy areas.

Agathon · 02/01/2008 23:03

Oh, and as an afterthought, urine is excellent for the sting of a stonefish. Tread on something spikey and ultra painful, do not panic, just piss on your foot.

Triathlete · 03/01/2008 20:55

Urine is really a very valuable commodity. It has uses in metalwork, agriculture and textiles. When it all goes pear-shaped, we'll be collecting urine in tanks and the old-timers will say "do you remember when we used to use 5 gallons of drinking water to flush our wee away?"

Concurrent activity is one of the principles of war, seeing as the bathroom is always a battle ground in our house each morning i'm all for it.
