Men - tell me the downsides to being a man...

..quite often I think it must be much easier to be a man than a woman.. except for the having to iniaite dating (generally). so tell me why I don't want to be a man?

Actually I'd feel very guilty about all this. You'd need another day to clean the body out before giving it back - it'd be like returning a hire car with crumbs all over the seats and mud on the flaps.

i cannot tell you how many times i have had conversations with women who talk about - he buys me, he bought me, what he did for me, what he didnt do for me, he doesnt take care of me, he doesnt mind read and know what i am feeling, he isnt romantic and yet they have the attitude NO, i dont do such things for him, but hes The Man, its all on him.

it must be hard to be a man if you are supposed to be a romantic mind reading rock with no emotions or needs of your own. its scary how many women i know who only think of how they feel about anything and what they want and need and forget their bloke is also a human being who might quite like a hug/cup of tea/pressie/shoulder to lean on.

mtpw I know loads of women like that Glad I'm not one of them. Whenever one comes up in conversation (bitchfest is probably closer to the truth) with dh I remind him he's lucky I'm not like that! (Just thought, me saying that all the time is probably really irritating him )

So what does dh do that I don't?

Thinks about sex more
Has a crafty wank when I'm out / asleep upstairs
Attempts to fix cars himself (I tried it, was crap at it and would prefer to pay someone else to do it)
Suffers terribly with man flu and takes to his bed.
Shaves his face (I pluck mine )

That's about it I think.

Disagree about women not being beautiful beyond the age of 45 there are loads out there. I was in Harvey Nicholls last year when I saw this woman who must have been 60 but she was drop dead gorgeous and my jaw dropped when she walked past. Her dress sense, her hair and her eyes, unbelievable. I was quite pissed at the time but she stood out a mile in that room. (Am I going on a bit here?) Still, lots of very nice aged 50 plusses out there.
P.S. I am not the character in Little Britain who fancies the grandmother!!
