Planning to watch live tomorrow, looks like a hilly one (!)

FelicityLemon · 04/09/2019 17:02

Chapeau to the only rider on my team not to have scored any points thus far. He has redeemed himself in spades! Bike

That was an exciting finish - "don't look behind you just keep going!"

Olinguito · 05/09/2019 11:00

An inspired choice Felicity!

EndoplasmicReticulum · 06/09/2019 20:38

Feeling happy about today's result!

As an aside, and it probably needs a separate thread - you can pick your Tour of Britain team on Velogames now. I have already had to adjust mine (had Carapaz, he's not starting).

EndoplasmicReticulum · 06/09/2019 20:39

Also getting very very excited about the Worlds. Although I'm not going to be able to drive anywhere for a week.

iNeverFinishAnyth · 06/09/2019 22:27

Well this is the worst team I have ever put together! Blush

DramaAlpaca · 06/09/2019 23:30

I'm not too happy with my lot, either Sad

MonsteraCheeseplant · 07/09/2019 07:08

Same here. I kind of feel like I'm competing for last place now. I was dominating that spot for quite some time but have been bumped up quite significantly to 5th (from bottom) which may even put me out of the running. The biggest shock in the game is "aiming for the bottom" who isn't in contention for a podium position but you know what they say, it's not over until the fat lady sings.

iNeverFinishAnyth · 07/09/2019 08:54

I'm winning in the race for last place. I've never done so badly with a velogames team! Lanterne Rouge for me!

MonsteraCheeseplant · 08/09/2019 13:33

Well it is hotting up in the bottom 3. "Aiming for the bottom" has made it into 3rd to last. I'm fighting to get into the bottom 3 but Sean Yates/INever, you are running away with it.

iNeverFinishAnyth · 10/09/2019 18:31

If I'm going to lose (it seems a done deal really!) I will do it in style! There are two of us in the MN Tour of Britain league, I'm also last there but only 40 points in it.

EndoplasmicReticulum · 10/09/2019 20:16

It must have just added us in there automatically. Im not even watching tour of Britain as the coverage is always somehow really dull. Might have a look at today's stage to fill the Vuelta gap.

MonsteraCheeseplant · 10/09/2019 20:20

Ooh I just checked the league and it's all changed! I'm in line for silver.

Sean Yates you are looking strong.

EndoplasmicReticulum · 11/09/2019 20:05

Ha. Start of highlights, I say "looks like a dull one today".

!!!!!!

iNeverFinishAnyth · 14/09/2019 15:24

Checking the league standings, I have abandoned, off my bike and into the team car. My Vuelta has gone from bad to worse! Blush

MrPan · 15/09/2019 16:21

Well my so called team are in for extra training sessions......

FelicityLemon · 17/09/2019 16:44

Mid table mediocrity strikes again! But as it was such fun to watch I don't really mind. Bike

EndoplasmicReticulum · 17/09/2019 19:18

Usually more fun than the tour too. Just a shame ITV4 don't do live coverage even of the big stages.

Not long until I see many of this lot hurtling around Harrogate!
