Leonard Cohen AND Radiohead? I'm guessing you're prone to the maudlin? Are you drawn to rain streaked windows and spend time staring in darkened rooms, wondering why?

I do like Laughing Len, would love to see him live.

monkeytrousers · 15/03/2008 18:08

I prefer Radiohead.

And they stopped being maudlin after the nineties!!

OMG - thank you so much - I had no idea, but have just screamed the house down and mamaged to get tickets for the 02 gig. Now I just have to persuade someone to go with me.

sfxmum · 15/03/2008 18:43

did you get them for the O2? I had a look and the price is ridiculous many times above listed

northernrefugee39 · 15/03/2008 19:10

Prufrock · 15/03/2008 19:37

Yep - £50 (plus fees of course)

sfxmum · 15/03/2008 19:51

Pufrock where? very

MegBusset · 15/03/2008 19:57

I am gutted that his one London gig is in the Millennium bleedin' Dome -- really not my idea of the perfect venue for a LC gig, and too far for me to get to after putting DS to bed anyway

DH said "Why not just stay at home and put the CD on?" He doesn't really get going to gigs...

sfxmum · 15/03/2008 19:58

I have never been to the O2 thing but there is a warning regarding some seats about heights?!

Prufrock · 15/03/2008 20:08

sfx - it was the ticketmaster link through the O2 site, but I've just checked and it's sold out - sorry. you could try for the Manchester tickets taht are being sold through the guardian on 4th April?

sfxmum · 15/03/2008 20:40

annoyingly I checked just an hr ago and there were £50 tickets left but no more bedtime for toddler got in the way.
