I say Pip. Dreary.

Peggy is bloody boring.

I loath Kate Aldridge, so thank god she has gone to be annoying in S Africa.

OrmIrian · 08/01/2008 16:38

Jennfier to die? On the basis that she is heading for sainthood already??

WendyWeber · 08/01/2008 16:39

Christine Barford.

WendyWeber · 08/01/2008 16:39

Closely followed by Phil

Oh, those were my contenders for Bore of the Year, not for the next sad loss

Agree Phil must be on the way out though, now they've had the lovely family photo - I rather hoped he would fall down the stairs while they were putting it up.

Threadworm · 08/01/2008 16:45

Phil makes me sad because he used to be so hale and authoritative and now he is just a retiree who bakes cakes sometimes. He sould prob be culled soonest.

ingles2 · 08/01/2008 16:54

it's got to be Shula! boring and unbearable!

wilbur · 08/01/2008 16:56

Thank you OmIrian! I thought it must be something like that.

orangina · 08/01/2008 17:01

Well, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I think real life Phil has got something terminal, so he probably WILL die next...
Though obviously poor old Jack isn't going to be around forever and clearly everyone wants Shula to encounter some grave misfortune...

Threadworm · 08/01/2008 17:02

Oh god. Poor real-life Phil. I feel awful now.

WendyWeber · 08/01/2008 17:03

He's had it for years though, Ormirian. I think he's sold his soul or something.

WendyWeber · 08/01/2008 17:04

Dec 2000

WendyWeber · 08/01/2008 17:05

(Not meaning to sound unmoved btw it's just that he has lasted so long I keep thinking he'll actually outlast everybody else.)

stillaslowreader · 08/01/2008 17:06

it will be jennifer and then Brian shortly after (combination of epilepsy and too many wet beds)and then Adam and Irishwhoever will take over child with roaring name. C w R N will grow up v butch in reaction also emotionally scarred but with Irish roots intact and nurtured due to irishwhoever.

I like Pip.

stillaslowreader · 08/01/2008 17:09

Oh dear poor old Phil no wonder the goodbyes were so lingering.

Threadworm · 08/01/2008 17:18

Lol, stillaslow. I always thought the roaring child would end up with Adam and thingy. After all, thingy was desperate for a child, and it would be such a good way of annoying Brian.

Elasticwoman · 09/01/2008 14:45

Nigel is not half as much fun as he used to be.

the actor who plays Phil has already recorded his 'last' broadcast, which they have on tape, 'in case'.

moodlumthehoodlum · 09/01/2008 15:29

That is sad about Phil. I saw an interview with the actor on BBC 4 last year and he said he wanted to just die "on air" so to speak. On the phone to David and just fade away or something along those lines.

sophiewd · 09/01/2008 15:51

That is so sad about Phil.

My problem with Shula is that the actress who plays her was hugely admiring of DD when she met her even when she was in the middle of a major tantrum (DD not Shula) that I can say nothing wrong about her and she is very nice as well.

Bridie3 · 09/01/2008 16:02

That is nice! She's married to Brian in real life, isn't she?

northender · 09/01/2008 16:04

Has anyone mentioned Tom? I can't stand him and his whingeing about his bloody sausages.

bundle · 09/01/2008 16:04

the vet who's so dull i can't even be arsed to remember his name.

sophiewd · 09/01/2008 16:10

Yes she is and he is lovely as well, very naughty sense of humour.
