Have only just bought the latest Coldplay Cd and its made me realise I am seriously lacking in what new bands are good to listen to at the moment.I'm not talking anything too heavy but I do do alternative-I am an Oasis fan/was a massive OCS fanatic-like Travis/Kasabian/Red Hot's-give me some other reviews on whats out at the moment that is rocking your boats...please!!

I was at T in the Park last year (with my work I hadten to add) and they played the Stone Roses in the cafe late on and everyone, and I mean everyone) sang along to I am the Resurection and it was even better than anyone else live. Even the youngsters agreed.

lunachic · 16/09/2005 00:27

i havent got that ive got sally cinnamon 12" though and elephant stone and made of stone i did have the first edition of fools gold on cd which was called what the world is waiting for instead of fools gold might have been valuable if it was on vynil and not knackd

You must have seen my sister and bil in that case, they are adiicted to tea in the park, i went when my little boy was tiny, got bored as everyone was stoned, have good photos to show him though, he looks like a popular hippy kid

fairyfly · 16/09/2005 00:30

Ericblack · 16/09/2005 00:34

I, quite literally, Sat Down, at Barrowlands in Glasgow for James. Need to go to bed before I wish I was relatively young again. Stone Roses first album is without question the greatest first album of all time.

Ericblack · 16/09/2005 00:36

Plus I need to put in my special old person with clicking jaws brace.

lunachic · 16/09/2005 00:36

lunachic · 16/09/2005 00:37

Ericblack · 16/09/2005 00:40
