I felt for Galway, they just never got into it. I do wish Limerick has dropped Hayes though, he's a disgrace.

Watching the world cup final actually has me so cross that these over paid, over pampered footballers deliver such a pathetic spectacle, all dramatics and faked injuries, while the GAA's incredible amateurs commit heart and soul.

Was far more interesting than the bloody world cup, fecking snooze fest. Yay for limerick!

GAA is spreading. DD moves to NI and starts playing GAA. Her sports mad dad starts watching and his dad in Yorkshire follows suit.

Faster and a far better watch than the England semi-final. My ancestors are from Cork and Mayo so easy to pick a side. Better still the Sam McGuire cup visited DD's workplace in Armagh in 2024 so she got to hold it, with photo.

That was a great match - it could have gone either way right uo to the last two or three minutes. I'm a neutral, but was delighted to see Mayo finally get their hands on Sam. Whoever came up with the 'Always the bridesmaid' road sign won't be laughing now.
