Bambi what’s the head Euro Entry

Anybody see Non Binary Ouija Rock singer Bambi who has been chosen to represent Ireland at Eurovision. I’m very unimpressed.

Had to go off to do a bit of research there!
Dad is Swedish, so well able to embody the Scandi goth /doom metal vibe.

She literally wears a coat with Queer on it. I reckon she's just playing to the galleries and doing her best to corral the gay vote, which is essential. Not buying the non binary anseo, she'll probably be married with a babe within ten years and making her own vegetable dyes in her lakeside summerhouse in Sweden!

She's not quite as bad as last year's yahoos but terrible all the same. Eurovision is just about how different and outrageous an act can be now. I like her style but her voice isn't great.

I find it odd that she's 'queer' and 'non binary', but has such a girly presentation, all thinness and hair and makeup and long legs and sticky out skirts attempting to look like a stereotyped female in a Japanese cartoon. As I said elsethread, she's like Abby Sciutto on NCIS nearly a quarter of a century ago. Is the as good a performer as Abby was a scientist? Dunno, seemed a bit thin and weedy to me, but time will tell.

You mentioned it, as did I, but Bambi seems to be the one who started it. I suppose it all seems new to the young. I'm sure there was the occasional fringe article in Spare Rib back in the day.

Bambi is an attention seeking fuck and will do ANYTHING to get their name out there.

I'm surprised to see she'll be 31 by the time of Eurovision - I'd assumed from the cliched presentation that she was much younger - and wow, her Wikipedia page shows how very very comprehensive her commitment to predictability is. Maybe she'll win, and be Ireland's heroine forever, like Dana.

I did not actually watch the show I just heard the screeching when I googled but is bambi born actually female but trying to look like a trans woman? I cant get my head around it all but I refuse to call anyone 'they'.

There is a slight Dylan Mulvaney vibe, but I think it is more that she and they are both copying that Japanese cartoon presentation style.

It is both comic and sad to see someone make 1970s style menstrual art and at the same time seek to deny their own female-ness,
