Police believe the body of the missing 14 year old has been found. Was hoping and praying it wouldn't end this way. His poor mother.

I hope so, alot of people are saying the police are covering it up so it doesnt start a war between Catholics and protestants (which would be horrendous and really scary to even imagine) but I hope his poor mother gets answers.

He seemed like a wonderful kid, heartbreaking.

I imagine it is more that they don't want bits of detail leaking out that could distort the full picture of what happened. They also have to make sure that (if there is foul play) they can collect all the evidence (material, cctv, etc) that they need. I expect lockdown is in place there still now? and they have to be very careful to manage this because of historical issues but also due to a lack of the normal things you might rely on to piece together someone's journey?

What I mean is that they are still trying to piece together his movements that day (I would imagine) and until they know exactly what happened they are making sure there is nothing released that could disturb their investigation.

I hope, anyway. Something like this surely gets the whole force wanting answers.

@Okayokayok I can't even let my brain go where your train of thought leads. It makes my blood run cold. I can't begin to imagine how it makes his family feel I read today that his mum has engaged legal services to look into how the investigation was handled. I wonder will there be any answers. My heart breaks for Noah and his family and friends.

This is just so sad I really think people are covering something. He seemed a lovely boy from a very descent family. I pray they get to the bottom of this and someone talks. Rip beautiful Noah x

There are posters all over my area. Also Niall Murphy is a fabulous fabulous solicitor and a great human. I seen on the news Noah's mobile was handed in. I hope the rest of his items will be handed in next. It's still very much in people's minds. If you are related or connected to Noah, i am so very sorry that this has happened and I will pray that this will be resolved x

I’m not related. I’m just trying to help spread awareness as the disappearance and death of a child needs to be investigated. From the moment he went missing, I prayed he would be returned safely but The PSNI and the government have failed this family from day one. Prayers are great but following on Twitter and Facebook (and sharing) will help his family to get answers x

A corporate manslaughter charge is simply a way to avoid prosecuting those responsible for taking Noah’s life. It should be a criminal investigation given the confirmation of an assault on him before his death. Police are not trying to piece together anything- they didn’t request CCTV footage from businesses in June and they still haven’t. This is why Noah’s mother and her lawyer have had to appeal directly to businesses to hand in CCTV from that day. There are at least 180 CCTV cameras on Noah’s final journey. The police have only taken in footage from 22 of these. There has been much misreporting (especially from the Belfast telegraph) on the case and I am aware of it all. Please have a look at the links I have shared before commenting as the family have said what they need- support to find and reveal the truth. They will be taking a blue heart to cavehill (his intended destination) today to raise awareness of the campaign for truth and justice.

I imagine, under those circumstances, and because of the very bizarre nature of this in general, the police are probably treating this very carefully and using intelligence to piece things together and want to be able to get everything right.

My thoughts are with his mum, too. He shone brightly, didn't he?

I would urge people to listen to Noah's mum being interviewed by James English last weekend. You can listen on Podcast or YouTube - google "anything goes with James English" It is utterly heartbreaking to listen to, but we cannot in this day & age allow the disappearance and death of a child to go uninvestigated. Noah should not be forgotten. Noah deserves the truth.

What the fuck is the story here? Why on earth did the police not investigate fully? I just don't understand.
That poor child and his mother, I can't imagine how she is coping.
To lose your child is tragic, and then to see the world acting as if obvious untruths about his death are facts must be just torture.
