Jam do you know if the coroner signing off on the pii is that the end of the road? Or does it have to get further signed off by Brandon Lewis?

Finally done front page coverage. Did anyone read the article, does it go until much of the facts?

This is from an older article when the invocation of PII was first mentioned in regards to Noah. interesting how it is worded.

The coroner in Noah’s case, McCrisken, is answerable to lady Chief Justice Siobhan Keegan (look up Ballymurphy massacre etc). AOH are currently in Belfast supporting legacy families who are battling PII and several other issues.

PII has to be signed off by ‘government’- Brandon Lewis in the case of PII and NI I believe.

So the coroner approves it, then government ultimately approves or denies?
Or the other way around? Sorry I can't quite get my head around it?

So have they moved the date from the 21st June to 1st July for the next preliminary hearing. Not sure which thread I read on that it was 21st June. So insensitive to have it on the anniversary of Noah going missing 💙

the dates have always been deliberately timed. Niamh had said 21st June yesterday but that’s what they do to the family- give a date and then pull it to avoid publicity and wield power

Surely with elections coming up politicians can be asked to do more to help Fiona get the answers she needs ?
We are talking about a child dead in suspicious circumstances.
It's the 21st century in a democratic country. 🤔

Unfortunately the politicians, or the vast majority of them, seem to have done little more for the last nearly 2 years than stay silent, some want photo opportunities and stand up talks with Fiona but then only pay lip service.
