PIP does not exclude anyone from paying CT. Some conditions do

“Should I pay council tax if I get PIP?
… are severely mentally impaired and you have a doctor's certificate that says you are severely mentally impaired, you do not count as an adult for Council Tax”

I get the daily living component of PIP, what else can I get? - Turn2us

I’m shocked how low some of these bills are too. Ours roughly:
CT 308
Energy 150
water 60
life insurance 70
house insurance 50
car insurance 100
mobile 70
broadband 35
Kids activities 100
gym membership x 2 45
various other small direct debits : national trust, charity, tv licence, Netflix, Spotify probably another 50-70
Travel insurance paid monthly 14
ring doorbell 8

I’m aware mine are not all necessary but it’s easy to forget about all the extras that people are likely to have.
