I applied for this and for an email last week saying I am eligible, just wondered if anyone has been paid this or if people who have received it previously have any idea of timescale? I know it's says up to 28th Feb but curious as to whether or not it may actually take that long!

I didn't expect to qualify because of my Epc, but I did..

My certificate expired this summer, but was a C rating - I'm in an 1850s terraced flat.

I've got a decent boiler/radiators for central heating and hot water, BUT no insulation, an uninsulated loft above me (although the last epc thinks it's insulated) single glazing (weirdly my neighbouring flat's certificates say they're double glazed, which they're not), big rooms with high ceilings etc

I checked ours it expired in 2020.
I wouldn't say our house was well insulated its really cold once the heating been of for a while.
This government couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery the criteria is so wrong the schemes should always be for those claiming benefits like tax credits for children and the sick and disabled or eldery that have no money behind them that's who struggle the most.
