Really struggling at the moment which I'm sure many of us are. With a newborn on the way I'm looking to make some extra pocket money! Any ideas?!

Right @mum2jakie - you did ask so this is all the things I do!
I have 11 bank accounts ( current + savings and they all earn the money even if they only have 1p in them) and all are registered under their portal: www.yougov.finance/portal/accounts/
This generates £55 every 3 months as that's how long you allow access and they ask if you will renew and thats another £55.
Also I have YouGov pulse which is another £1 per month.
Then I also do these: Apple TV+, Disney plus, Prime and Netflix viewing history @ 75 Points per acitivity for each and every time - usually about £20 per month.
These are all pretty much passive income - you set them up and they run and credit as soon as you do them.
Then at the end of every survey you do which is between 50p and £5 depending on length as you know, I also do the extra add on which takes a minute and all of that together generates about £50 every 6 weeks.
So there's your answer.

Hi @EmmaC78 - Have you got pulse installed? You can have it on all your devices and that generates 300 points p.m. for zero work.
Also at the end of nearly every survey you get a chance to do a 1 min one for additional points - I always do those.
Additionally you get really well rewarded surveys for your kids - usually 125/150 points for 5/10 minute ones and DD1 and DD2 are straight in there whenever they get the opportunity.

If you are on Swagbucks as well these two links give you 1SB for 45 seconds and 1 SB for 20 secs watches - the first can be used 7 times everyday and the second 3 times every day.

Hope those help you - and indeed anyone else looking to add a bit more cash.

I will give this a go. Nothing ventured , nothing gained!

Hi @ItisallPooh do try out Swagbucks and YouGov on the links I gave yesterday BUT the ones you quote in your post are expired bonuses for watching videos so are no longer working

mum2jakie · 23/10/2022 11:01

Thanks @Was126orbustandmaybebust

I just do the You Gov surveys which takes years!

How do you add the Netflix, Prime etc viewing history to YouGov?

Was126orbustandmaybebust · 23/10/2022 11:38

Well then you are missing out on some potential easy passive income - but of course not everyone wants add-0ns @mum2jakie
Even with just the surveys though you should be getting £50 at least three times a year.. Do you do them all that are offered? I have had £5 in the last three days with everything hotting up with yet another move at No. 10 and if there is a general election we will be in - financial - clover!

I’m out now @BEAM123 but I’ll screenshot it when I get back as I cannot quite remember where it is on the menu.

R2G · 23/10/2022 15:33

Start selling your used/unwanted stuff on ebay. There's still a market for books, CDs, DVDs, etc as well as (especially) children's clothes/toys etc - create "bundles" such as 3/4 similar paperback books, or several series of the same TV programme. Basically, as much as you can fit within the "small parcel" price from Royal Mail, which makes it economic to sell a few CDs or DVDs or books rather than one offs.

We've taken a few thousand pounds from selling our stuff on Ebay over the past few years - that's money now in our bank account for things we'd have given away or thrown away.

The heavier stuff (hard back books etc) we take to the charity shop as you usually can't get enough from Ebay to cover the postage. Same with small household items like vases, table lamps, small pieces of furniture etc. For anything heavy, postage is the killer, so usually not worth the hassle unless you go for local collection in person (best if you live in a city).

Oh, on the laptop mine doesn't have the Safe tab....

Was126orbustandmaybebust · 23/10/2022 21:58

Oh how strange @BEAM123 - I didn't know people on the same panel had different things. Sorry about that. Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as maybe they are rolling it out and I have just been luckier to get it earlier.

I do online surveys, generally making around £4 daily.I spend around an hour a day doing them,my favourites are qmee, streetbees and superpay.me.
qm.ee/6TT34LY4LJMRW
onelink.to/streetbees with code 73773X
superpay.me?ref=Babybear
If you want to try them out.

I use qmee each day to see what I can pick up,but superpay.me is my fave as I can earn lots more than the other sites.

Was126orbustandmaybebust · 31/10/2022 11:59

If anyone is on Facebook and doing Swagbucks then join the Swagbucks collectors bills group as it gives you lots of links so you can get search wins every day. There is a halloween collectors bill out today that is worth 31SB+5SB bonus which you get by just searching.
I get three a day as I use Safari, Chrome and Opera to get one each.
Good luck.

Hey @BEAM123 did the safe tab come up for you? We all seem to have it in London so I wonder if it's on a roll out nationwide.
Hope it worked for you in the end.

Hi, yes they emailed me about it a week or so back and I was able to add it then, thanks for checking!

Was126orbustandmaybebust · 07/11/2022 21:06

Yay! @BEAM123 - hope you make a good chunk with all the extras 🙂

Was126orbustandmaybebust · 08/11/2022 17:18

Wow YouGov has always just been £50 cash but I just had an email that they expanding the rewards choices. All these and about ten more. I'll still probably take the cash but it's nice to have options.

Any ways to make an extra bit of cash?

My bank (Co-operative Bank) is offering £125 to swap to them. I like their account, they even give you a little money each month when you have a current account with them and have e.g. direct debits and a payment coming in.

See

www.co-operativebank.co.uk

and follow the 'refer a friend' link.

I can PM my details - account number email address and sort code, which is needed for the 'friend' part of the offer.

Easy way to make a free £125 and they say they transfer your direct debits etc automatically so should be fuss-free.

For all the Swagbucks people there is a new set of collectors bills starting on Monday :

Was126orbustandmaybebust · 12/11/2022 13:02

And there is a new team challange too - these are great to learn how to make the most of the site from the other team members so ideal for new joiners or older members who want to make some more money from the site:

I don’t know how it’ll work with being pregnant but I’ve been looking after dogs whilst the owners are on holiday I made £270 in October and the dog was an absolute delight. Ive got one dog coming next week so it’s a bit hit and miss but ever little helps.
