ChristmasSeacow · 24/11/2017 11:33

Ooh, that's one of the ones I was looking at! If only comes in black, blue and pink at the mo. I am not keen on pink though love purple, I wish that was still available. I don't care about the looks, I'm going to love it!

Cagliostro · 24/11/2017 11:53

£31 Amazon so far! Black Friday board games (one for Christmas and one for maths teaching)

Girlie I have a vague recollection you asked me about board games! Sorry I didn't get around to that. What games does DD already like/not like? And would it mostly be two player or more?

nsd so far.

we dropped dh in to work then called dm and had breakfast with her. hung around to see df who had gone to the gym (for a retired person he gets up early...he was at the gym for 7..)

back home now. ds has had his lunchtime bottle (although didn't want all of it). i'm eating leftover dhal and ryvita. dh went to the coop last night but because the freight boat hasn't come in now for 3 days there wasn't much left - stupidly the powers that be here closed our supermarkets warehouses this time last year so everything that can't be grown here gets shipped in regularly.

am trying to convince ds to have a nap in the afternoon. i've left him in his basket for the moment. i can hear him shuffing about in there. but am hoping that he'll nod off.

still ignoring (where possible) the black friday sales at the likes of mother care, jojo etc. a huge next has just opened up here. and i want t go look but maybe next week...dh has a few days off so will be able to go on my own and have a look

WreckTangled · 24/11/2017 13:46

£77 Tesco
£24 party shop on a giant balloon for ds and some gem stick on things for dd and her friends for tomorrow
£127 amazon
£13 amazon
£90 after school club
£24 labredoute account can close it once that's gone through
£7.49 on some trousers for dd. She can wear them for her school play and they will be good in the spring.

Have shopped, made ds' birthday cake, cleaned the kitchen, hoovered the house, folded the washing and put another load on, loaded/put on/unloaded the dishwasher, wrapped all of ds' birthday presents as I won't have time tomorrow. Need to post my nephews birthday present in a bit before I go to sharing assembly at school Shock I need a nap.

WreckTangled · 24/11/2017 15:37

Car scraped already. Dickhead in a van combined with living in the sticks. Fuck fuck fuck.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2017 15:51

Someone scraped your car?! Did you get his number?. What a total cunt.

£5 petrol.
£70 food money went out.

£5 in Amazon vouchers arrived.

Cagliostro · 24/11/2017 16:00

Oh no wreck :(

Well it's official, I do indeed have a gallstone and inflamed gallbladder. Yaaaaaay

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2017 16:08

Do they need to operate?.

WreckTangled · 24/11/2017 16:11

Oh no cag can they fix it?

Fluffy I didn't realised he'd scraped it until afterwards! But I know from experience there's no point getting his details. No witnesses and a very narrow road.

(I know my car is really dirty already it'll be cleaned Sunday!)

cag so. At least you know where the hideous pain is definitely coming from. I get much more scared and anxious with the unknown. And a stone is good actually, as they will do something about it. Quite quickly I'd imagine, as you won't be able to take super strong opiates while bf I imagine. Dp was given oromorph to drink at will by the time he finally had his op. On top of his max tramadol dose too Confused

I have spent.

£138 in sainsburys, tu 25%, so 5prs of christmas jammies, jeans, pants etc, plus a new oral b toothbrush for dd1, plus 4 pints of milk.

£199 Amazon. Dd1 main pressie. A nikon coolpix camera. Had an extra £20 off it today, so went for it. She takes too good photos to just use her phone camera. It does wifi too, so will talk to all her stuff. And it's a gorgeous plum colour!

I have 20 lots of yarn finishing tonight, hoping to help towards the camera with it.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2017 16:26

You need a dashcam wreck. That's so bloody annoying.

WreckTangled · 24/11/2017 16:35

I don't think it would have helped because there would be nothing to show if it was him or me. We were at a passing point but it was so tight. I literally couldn't move. It's just one of those (annoying) things. Luckily we have a small amount of cash spare so I'll look into getting it repaired on my next day off.

Cagliostro · 24/11/2017 16:36

Yes I'm really glad I know now. Their opinion was that it'll calm down on its own as it's just a normal post pregnancy thing, but also said that they usually offer surgery after 3 attacks. So one to go then. Have to see what the doctor says, I'm seeing her on Thursday anyway

OP posts:
SnugglySnerd · 24/11/2017 16:45

Pleased you have a diagnosis Cag and hope they can fix it or you get better quickly. Pregnancy is a lot of fun isn't it?

We're suddenly having shambolic afternoon naps Em then they wake up overtired in the night. I just can't seem to time it right for them to sleep more than about 30 mins.

Have changed about a gazillion nappies today. Exhausted!

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 24/11/2017 17:15

Oh cag that's rubbish re the gallstones Sad I honestly wouldn't wish them on anyone. I would push to get it removed tho, it's horrible waiting for another attack. Yes it was me asking about board games! I've got dd cluedo as she is very into murder mysteries atm we have all the usuals guess who, monopoly etc but if you can think of anymore that would be great, 2 players preferably ...

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/11/2017 18:05

Oh no wreck, that's annoying
Pleased you know the issue cag.
Sorry for all those not sleeping
I have lists of stuff to buy. Will do it over the weekend.
Ot tomorrow

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2017 18:47

Need Has been gone a while.

LonelyOversharer · 24/11/2017 19:43

She has hasn't she? Come on need being frantically busy is no excuse!! Hope you are all ok x

Am bouncing, my ebay yarn sold for £176 plus postage! That's almost all of dd1's present covered. For yarn I didn't like, or honestly need. There were four lots of noro, but some very old pure wool yarn sold best, I'd have never used this, had no idea anyone would value it!

Another bike shop bit sold too.

Stuffed doing tea, did supernoodles and peanut butter sarnies for dc. I'm eating my way through a packet of bourbons. This is balanced nutrition, right?

SnugglySnerd · 24/11/2017 19:59

Wow! That's amazing Lonely.

Have ordered a couple of Xmas bits for DD1 today. Books and things. Getting very excited about Christmas. I can't wait to see her little face when she sees her stocking. She is learning Christmas songs at nurery and keeps treating us to little performances. Obviously the twins won't "get it" but I'm sure they'll enjoy the decorations and wrapping paper.

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 24/11/2017 20:09

lonely that's great re selling the yarn, we have had a similar tea mine was crumpets and marmite with crisps! Dd had soft cheese on toast and crisps, I have also finished off my b day chocolates.

Have managed a Nsd I think....

I want crumpets and marmite now

@needastrongone where are you?!?!?!

LonelyOversharer · 24/11/2017 20:24

Just spent another £50 on amazon lightening deals. I won't look again today. Three more little pressies for dd1. Teenagers who don't do clothes, hair and makeup are very hard to buy for!

My cat is having a dizzy-wiz right next to me. I'm going to get bitten. Trying not to move at all as he's so very fast!
