thank you WMMC i need some new pans but my only concern it does not say if disahwasher proof

clare8allthepies · 25/11/2011 07:51

Ooh lots of stuff on today! Could have done with some of the baby stuff a year ago though!

TheHumancatapult · 25/11/2011 08:04

hmm it seems to finish 7.45 or so or thats when they may put the kitchen aid on

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 09:10

I think, they will throw random things in all day and I would think the Kitchen Aid would be at tea time or the 9pm grand finale.

There are some good things on but only if you need them - lots of baby stuff and tvs! shame I'm not in the market for either!!

TicketToHull · 25/11/2011 09:21

Do I need 10 cookbooks courtesy of the "My Kitchen Table" pack?

Much to DP's fear, I think need has very much been surpassed by desire...Grin

Kveta · 25/11/2011 09:24

I'm not impressed with today's offerings at all. may get another box of chocs for a friend who is due with DC2 any day now.

did anyone else gasp at the price of the complete breastfeeding kit, or was it just me? £160?! I doubt I have spent that much on breastfeeding over 2 years! It seems massively cynical to me. That said, if I didn't have a perfectly good manual one, I'd probably get the electric one for using with Dc2. hmm.

I wonder if the kitchenaid is the 'now that's what we call a deal' one?

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 09:26

Grin Ticket welcome to he dark side hee hee

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 09:29

kveta I had the medela swing pump and it was pretty fab - I only ever had meagre offering when I expressed but that got a good bit out!

Totally agree with what you say about the price for the bf set - and if I remember it only reduced to £100!

IwanttobeShirleyValentine · 25/11/2011 09:30

Admittedly I have been out all day every day this week (until today) and only caught the evening offers but I have not seen anything thats made me think "OMG - gotta have it".

Am I the only one feeling a bit dissapointed with this years offerings?

AtYourCervix · 25/11/2011 09:35

£160 for a breastfeeding kit. Might see what my boobs raise on ebay Grin that's all the 'kit' most people need.

LaterAlligator · 25/11/2011 09:38

My name is Later and I am an Amazonaholic.

I'm so glad to find I'm not the only one feverishly refreshing Amazon on a regular basis just in case (I'm not, am I....?)

And I sooooooo want need a Kitchenaid!

Kveta · 25/11/2011 09:38

well, exactly AtYourCervix! and the 'kit' doesn't contain muslins or nursing bras, which, let's face it, are the 2 absolute essentials for bfing.

but don't put your boobs on ebay, I'm pretty sure that would be against their policies :o

AtYourCervix · 25/11/2011 09:41

Morning Later. What you got so far then?

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 09:41

Welcome Later you are not alone Grin

AtYourCervix · 25/11/2011 09:43

uh oh. pretty sunglasses at 10.30.

EsmeWeatherwax · 25/11/2011 09:44

I want the basic electric breast pump, might come in useful this time round. How are they getting awa with charging 160 quid for a bfeeding kit? Lol, with dd2 I spent a fiver on breast pads, and that was it!

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 09:44

Oakley sunglasses at 10.30 - yes please Blush

I fear my family may not eat next week after Amazons finished with me!

TicketToHull · 25/11/2011 09:45

oreo Thanks!

LaterAlligator · 25/11/2011 09:46

Morning AtYourCervix & oreocrumbs.

I was just after the Beatrix Potter books for DS but I somehow managed to order myself not one, but two pairs of boots.
Only stern looks & exasperated sighs from DH have stopped me ordering loads of other random stuff I don't need.

Picked up any other bargains?

LaterAlligator · 25/11/2011 09:47

Am v. tempted by a breast pump (have a 10 week old who NEVER stops feeding)

AKMD · 25/11/2011 09:57

Why all the excitement over a kitchen aid? What does it do, cook your meals for you?!

AtYourCervix · 25/11/2011 09:58

o idea AK but it looks nice. and shiney.

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 09:59

Later - the Peter Rabbit books only reduce to £50, you can get them from the book people for £30 and I got a similar set from the works for under £20. I think someone linked to them a while back on this thread.

Ive bought -
2 pairs of boots, an umbrella, cookbooks, Mad men blu ray, Laurel and Hardy box set, Baby Annabell, Leapfrog letters, Kipling handbag, toystory dvd, disney night light, giant box of chocs, big box duplo

Thats it for now ...... Grin

MrsChemist · 25/11/2011 10:02

I'm tempted by one if the electric breast pumps too. I have a manual, but it's such a PITA to use

oreocrumbs · 25/11/2011 10:02

AKMD Its to help you channel your inner Ina Garten Wink

Dont you know once it sits on your bench your home will magically transform into an East Hamptons Mansion and you will spend the rest of your days floating around it entertaining intresting people with beautiful food Grin

Well thats what I expect
