Hmmm Could it be that Aldi near me has different prices? Bread was 99 milk the same ... same price as my local Londis! But the Magnum washing up liquid was just like fairy for half the price. :-)

jenni75 · 13/10/2011 11:04

Hi flowerpot, I'm in Scotland , maybe they do have different prices, I'm going to Aldi tomoro and i'll ask and report back :)

I'm in the South East so could be the location - but thanks for posting, inspired me to go look for the first time! Will defo go back, what is the fuit and veg like? prices were v reasonable but does it last and taste ok? I sometimes find asda tomatoes/ bananas dont taste quite right? oh and i picked up some great choc called "bubbles" which was 69p same price for an small aero - my fav - tastes just the same.

jenni75 · 13/10/2011 11:32

I've just started getting into Aldi myself, I haven't bought any fruit/vegetables from there yet, I've tried their cola zero and that's nice 39p i think, will try the bubbles tomoro, i love aero :)
Magnum washing up liquid gets a good write up
I've started storing my vegs in the bottom of the fridge, used to store them in a veg rack thing in the kitchen but they don't last long then, but in the fridge they last ages.
