Yesterday I was with someone with a sniffle for several hours. Today they tested positive for covid. What’s the betting I get it just for Christmas now?
I haven’t had it before so what do you recommend to ease the symptoms?

I think your chances are increased but it's not a done deal.

I travelled in a car on a 4 hour round trip with DH and DD who had both tested positive and I didn't get it.

DH had Covid a second time this summer and again I didn't catch it.

Nor did he catch it from me when I had it 6 weeks ago.

Same bed too 😐

DH has never had it nor adult DS- I've had it 3 times this year! We don't isolate from each other in the house and always carry on as usual- DH has had me coughing in his face in my sleep and still not had it (we don't have anywhere else one of could comfortably sleep and figure by the time I've got a positive he would already have it!)
The two of them are very similar - DS is the literal image of DH just 30 yrs younger and I can only think they have some genetic superpower that wards off covid. We have all had the first 3 vaccines back in the day but none since.

I work from home and they both work out of the house- I'm convinced they can 'carry' it and pass it on but have no symptoms.
