I think I might have covid - I've been feeling so weak since Saturday with bad headaches, slightly sore throat, really hot and sweaty, feel sick and generally feeling exhausted. Struggling to sleep and shaking too.

I don't have any covid tests so I've not tested.

Do these symptoms sound like covid?

It's horrible, you really have to rush into the toilet! Can't understand where it's all coming from because I have hardly eaten since Monday.

The sore throat was a bit better, but has come back with a vengeance! DH is now traveling the Covid road. Luckily, our DD only lives 5 miles away....had to send her out for dog chow.

Felt a bit better, was so pleased. Has half a tin of soup. Showered washed hair. It felt weird.... forgot to rinse the conditioner! Slept for 30 minutes, woke up feeling like shit. Tinnitus is so bad, I reckon everyone can hear it. Vitals are fine though.

Tested positive on Wed. Cough was v bad for 3 days, and tight chest and sore throat. Temps and aches- neck ache and knees hurt too strangely. Now has gone to sinuses and chest seems to have cleared. Not like a regular cold. I was in bed for 3 days and still mostly resting

Oh yes- and now since this am, cannot smell or taste anything. Sniffed a jar of vicks. Eyes watered but could smell nothing

Yes that's how it manifest with me, I would say I was shivering rather than shaking though. I also developed a really painful and immobilising neck pain. Was starting to worry about meningitis however the nhs website lists myalgia as a symptom. The neck pain has worn off, I've improved a bit but still feels like a really heavy cold.

I've had the neck pain all this week. Right at the top of my neck/base of skull and found it difficult to turn my head along with feeling drained, slightly queasy and had one day of dodgy tummy. Some hot flushes Not like other bouts of covid where I've felt absolutely floored but just everything niggling away. Had put it down to being tired. On reflection I think I've probably had covid

I've got a pain in the neck as well (it's the DH with Covid)

I tested positive yesterday but thankfully for me, this time round has been like a bad cold. When I had it last year, I was very ill so very relieved. I tested because I'm due to get the booster this week which i'll now have to postpone.

Started with a sore peppery throat, and a raw feeling in my stomach. Haven’t been looking after myself so thought I’d dose up with lemsip & chicken soup. Started vomiting last night, temp and fell into a deep shivery sleep for an hour or two. Then woke up utterly wired and feeling crap. Tested positive and then been up all night. V different to when I had it 18 months ago.

The feeling wired was one of the worst symptoms,my temperature was so high and for days on end and I was so exhausted but just couldn't sleep,it was as if every nerve in my body was jangling and I'd drunk loads of coffee. Really nasty.

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor yes it’s like a complete caffeine overload. I desperately want to sleep but feel totally hyper, but also without the energy to move. Hope this passes quickly.

It took a long time to pass for me, 10 days at least, I'm only just sleeping now and it's absolute bliss. Hope it's not so long for you and you feel better soon.
