Does anyone have covid at the minute?

I think I might have covid - I've been feeling so weak since Saturday with bad headaches, slightly sore throat, really hot and sweaty, feel sick and generally feeling exhausted. Struggling to sleep and shaking too.

I don't have any covid tests so I've not tested.

Do these symptoms sound like covid?

I've had no cold symptoms though other than a mild sore throat

Me too! It’s not been available here for so long. It was always my go to as I have gut issues which are always made worse by colds/flu and the dreaded Covid.

Has anyone got sore heavy eyes?
Other than that i've got the lethargy, insomnia & the hungry sicky feeling, plus the coughing/sneezy bunged up feeling 😷

Yes everything except the cough and bunged up. I am sneezy though.

Everyone keeps telling me to rest up and relax, I can't. I have hardly slept since Sunday, Im all wired and twitchy. I don't feel tired, I feel very nauseous, and cold although my temp is down to 37c.

I was the same, only able to relax now 10 days on and start catching up on sleep.

Such weird symptoms! I'm day 7 and coming out the back of it, but going on holiday tomorrow. I would love a lie in!

I'm waking up at 4.30.
I'm going to try taking some melatonin tonight. But I feel so dehydrated I'm drinking loads of water & consequently I'm waking up to pee frequently.

Im so sweaty, dizzy with stomach cramps and nausea.

My first tests were negative as well. Here I am still awake, nearly 4am. I did manage a bit of sleep though. All my older friends late 60s said they did nothing but sleep. I think a lot of it at first is because I sleep on my stomach,you can't do that with a blocked nose and stinking headache. I have a bladder prolapse,so regular night time visiting to the toilet. I can't get comfortable in bed. Hiatus hernia,gives me dreadful heartburn. I have staggered around inside and outside. Luckily I had been sleeping in the spare room....we have a 11 week old border collie puppy. I worked nights for 30 years, sleep little,so it made sense for me to do it. DH had to take over from Wednesday. I was so looking forward to today,her first lead walk since her injections

Yes, I've had your symptoms.

Day 1-2 minor headache
Day 3 bad headache, felt sick
Day 4 sore throat, that's what made me test
Days 5-7 hot and clammy with a day of cold

Felt a bit better yesterday, but still very much positive, so will return to work on Sunday, not today.

I've slept a little better this time, but last time I had insomnia for three days and was like a zombie

Oh and absolutely horrible loud tinnitus which makes me feel dizzy when I stand up.

I have a very faint line now after 6 days positive,so hoping will be negative tomorrow.
I had terrible high temperature,insomnia,aches especially in my hands 🤷🏻‍♀️ not sleepy at all, head cold now have a bad cough with no taste or smell.

I'm not just left with a tickly cough. I had it in the last week of August.

It just felt like a bad cold. I had covid last year too and I felt like I was going to die so I'm a lot happier with this new strain.

Day 4 now and finally got a bit of sleep last night. Not so bunged up but still have really sore tongue and throat but have found using a rapid relief toothpaste on my tongue is taking the edge off that. Contacted local surgery about some antibiotics as I'm asthmatic and what I'm coughing now is clearly infected o ly to be told I can come to the sit and wait clinic this evening... You couldn't make it up . Finally sorry to say the pelvic floor is struggling and I had to add some Tena to my Tesco shop !

Whataboutnow. Antibiotics won't work on viruses,there are a few antivirals, but they have to be given at the first sign, usually people imuno compromised. I feel your pain regarding the bladder though. I have a cystocele, got a list of "dos and don't", apparently you mustn't cough. Ironically the prolapse doesn't make me incontinent, just the opposite, I have to contort into a fancy position to void the bladder.

The Melatonin i took last night really helped with the insomnia. I'm another who's needs a Tena pad. My chest feels tight n sore & its painful to cough.

That’s helpful thanks. I’ve neck pain but I thought it was a combination of sleeping in the spare room and having two pillows to help with the coughing. Didn’t realise it was a symptom. I’ve also got an itchy face.

Has anyone else totally loss their sense of taste & smell? Mine is 100% gone

Got a very strong instant positive this morning. Felt rough all week but negative earlier in the week
I feel rotten hot and cold shivering and sweating awful cough and cold painful body and skin and very little sleep and really sore eyes.
Appetite is knackered.

Dunno what to do with myself !

No one else got the abdo pain and diarrhoea?
