I tested positive, by LFT, on Sunday for the very first time. Ever.

I've been shambling round the house like the walking dead since then. 💀

My boss WhatsApped me and told me to enjoy the rest. 😂

When's the earliest someone has tested negative?

Nobody I know has mentioned Covid for at least 6 months never mind testing

You clearly don't work in a healthcare setting, let alone an acute hospital

Covid pops up often on our gym WhatsApp group. We're all healthy and lie low and test if we feel poorly. But we are quite busy and considerate and don't want to pass anything on.

I wish more people were like you

I've found id I silence Netflix, put on the subtitles and play it at 2X speed, it's not so bad.

It's like my ADHD has ramped up, even though I've been taking the meds the whole time.

Why can’t you go out your room? No requirement to test, wait for a negative test or isolate any more.

glitterwobbles · 19/03/2023 20:43

No maybe no legal requirement but am still infectious so would rather not give it to the rest of the family.

Gingernaut · 20/03/2023 01:20

You're a good'un @glitterwobbles, I'm sorry you're still under the weather

Fingers crossed you test -ve soon

My parents both tested positive this week for the first time ever. My mum came down with a cold on Sunday but didn't test positive until Thursday (the same day as my dad). My dad passed out from low blood pressure last night after waking up to go to the loo - they went to A&E and he stayed in hospital for several hours.

I saw them on Sunday and currently have some mild muscle aches. Did a test yesterday and it was negative.

Back when we used to get free PCR tests, I had 4 negative 'confirmatory' tests after getting positive LFTs! Since changing to the nose-only swabs around this time last year, I haven't had another positive.

I suspect I had Covid in mid-March 2020 as I had a temperature and sore throat for a couple of days, followed by several more days of muscle aches and a very 'thick' nose!

The cough has reduced, but the tea towels are still coming.

I received notice from Evri today that they've received my last parcel. 😳

Fuck it.

I've won a bid on six more fucking glasses.

WTF was I thinking???

The cough has reduced markedly, but I still wheezy whistle first thing in the morning. I also can't describe the tiredness.

I’ve also still got weak/ light headed moments a few times a day, especially in the mornings. Really hope they go away soon.

Gingernaut · 26/03/2023 22:20

Sorry to heat that @EarlGreywithLemon

I'm lucky in that I have a completely sedentary job, I just have to drag myself to and from the bus stops

Get well soon
