How long did you feel rough for, after your covid booster?

I've had my flu jab Tuesday and yesterday covid booster. I was trying to get them out of the way while I'm on annual leave, as I expect next week at work to be full on crazy, long hours etc. This is my fourth covid jab and none of the others made me feel unwell (had both Pfizer and AZ). If your covid jab made you unwell, how long did it last for? I'm really hoping I'm OK tomorrow.

I had my 4th yesterday morning. My second Pfizer. No side effects with the first three but went to bed last night feeling dreadful and I've felt rough all day. I'm starting to feel better but I didn't feel as ill as this when I actually had Covid in the summer.

I could have written this. It exactly mirrors my experience down to what jabs I had and when I got covid!

I had 24 hours of shivering, chills and really painful arm. I then developed conjunctivitis, then got a head cold which lasted a week. Nothing to do with the vaccine, just rubbish timing!

I had the covid booster on Monday and avflu jab the Tuesday beforehand. With the flu jab I had a sore arm for about a day but felt really tired ever since then. With the covid booster the other arm which was sore for a few days and I still felt wiped out. I am not sure if the fatigue is related to either, but it started after the flu one so that would be the most obvious culprit.

Fine apart from slightly sore arm.

Just for a couple of hours, took some hot lemon and a paracetamol and was fine.

DH had Pfizer bivalent. Only side effect was a sore arm.

I was fine by Sunday, so two days of feeling rough. Weird how it took until my fourth vaccine to have a reaction. And I had Pfizer before, so it's not that. Feeling better going into winter in a big high school with my flu and covid jabs sorted, so definitely worth a couple of days of feeling poorly.

It’s all a bit random. I was wiped out after my first three covid jabs, but had my flu and covid booster last week and apart from sore arms I feel fine. No side effects at all.

PinkPupZ · 01/11/2022 05:24

Had moderna and had 2 days of feeling grim with fever. Previously had PZ and no real side effects

MrsTerryPratchett · 01/11/2022 05:29

Moderna and flu. One arm slightly sore and that was it.

ZebraF · 01/11/2022 05:35

I felt rough for 4 days after the Moderna booster a few weeks ago. Horrible fatigue, headache, aching limbs. Previous jabs have all been Pfizer which only caused a mild reaction the next day.

Twiglets1 · 01/11/2022 06:00

Had my booster on a Saturday, felt poorly on the Sunday & Monday and back to normal by Tuesday

Twiglets1 · 01/11/2022 06:04

The above booster was Moderna btw
