Hi - Well just that really. Hearing so many who getting covid at the moment are pretty unwell with flu type symptoms, or worse. Seems kids still getting away more lightly than adults - on the whole. But any adults just had mild/moderate cold symptoms; and are the key symptoms still more focused to sore throat/aches then cough which is how it was back at the start? What about really sore eyes?? (just asking this as add on as my eyes stinging like mad for no reason I know off!!..if in doubt, question if covid!!)

DS (12) has it now and has been in hospital since Sunday, he's really unwell. It's his 2nd time, he was vaccinated and double boosted.
So not milder in his case.

I’m so sorry to hear that @HazeyjaneIII that must be really frightening. Is he improving at all? I hope he recovers soon and fully.

Thankyou.
It's frightening if I think about it too much, which I'm trying not to, as we're in at the moment and I'm just trying to help get Ds better and home.
He has improved a bit, but there is infection as well as Covid, and an asthma flare up triggered by both. He'll get there
