Anyone recently/currently had/have a milder form of covid

Hi - Well just that really. Hearing so many who getting covid at the moment are pretty unwell with flu type symptoms, or worse. Seems kids still getting away more lightly than adults - on the whole. But any adults just had mild/moderate cold symptoms; and are the key symptoms still more focused to sore throat/aches then cough which is how it was back at the start? What about really sore eyes?? (just asking this as add on as my eyes stinging like mad for no reason I know off!!..if in doubt, question if covid!!)

No sorry I’m just recovering from covid and it’s taken 2 weeks to feel remotely normal and I’m still exhausted.

I have got covid for the third time at the moment. I was vomiting on Monday night and did a test on Tuesday afternoon after reading that could be a symptom. Generally don't feel too bad though bit tired and headachy though I wasn't ill really the 2 times before either.

I’ve got it for the first time at the moment and shocked at how poorly I’ve felt as thought it had got weaker over time.
however I am CEV so I’m not a good comparison for the general public 😅

Covid was very mild for me. Just a stuffy nose and a bit tired. Lasted about two days. But I tested positive for 10 days!

I tested positive yesterday, DH Monday, I feel as if I’ve got off very very lightly but I did have a booster three weeks ago. Lots of sneezing about five days ago, very snotty nose, but kept testing negative, then as I started to feel a bit better I tested positive but I did hit the Sudafed congestion tablets as soon as I knew I was positive and they helped a lot.

Ive got it at the moment, just like a really bad cold. Unpleasant but not unmanageable.

I have it now, first time. Been in bed for 2 days, feel wiped out. Chills, bad headache, aches, nausea, no appetite and runny nose. Triple vaccinated.

I'm just on the tail end of it. Test positive for the first time 5 days ago (triple jabbed). Started with a sore throat then got the shivers for a few days, and felt a bit achy, nothing worse than that really.

My second dose was milder than the first. Second time it was just like a cold; first time I think I had every symptom going.

Tested positive for first time Monday.

Sneezing fit Friday , sore throat Saturday, aches and nausea Sunday. Very snivelly, productive cough. Mostly just tired.

I have been living on paracetomol, soup and fruit juice and bread, as not felt like food. So inadvertently like a juice detox and actually I think this helped, really had no aches or fever and if I didn't know it was Covid I would just think it was a bad cold and carry on.

Oh I also have been taking Vitamin D for at least a month.

Super mild for me back in June. Joint pains, sore throat and a runny nose. Easily managed with paracetamol and I felt fine. Much milder than the non Covid cold/flu type thing I have had for 2 weeks now, and still feel like death.

This is my first time. Tested positive last Tuesday, was in bed for the first 3 days with nausea/diarrhoea/aches/fever/cough. Had an okay on Saturday and since then been back in bed with exhaustion, burning nose, headache, more coughing and more nausea. Feel like absolute arse.

I had it a few weeks ago - my first time. I tested positive at lunchtime, was very shivery by the evening and hot & cold all night. After that I was coughing for a few days, and retreated onto the sofa for a couple of afternoons. Never lost my appetite but couldn't be arsed to cook anything complicated. I'd describe it as being worse than a bad cold, but much better than flu, and was back to normal - to the extent of working full time (from home) and doing a pilates class (also from home) - before I tested negative.

My two DS have been struck with something horrid the last couple of weeks and I'm beginning to wonder if it could be Covid. Last time it hit our household my DS1 was 13 months and DS2 was still in my tummy, but we all had mild symptoms.

They're both far too young to test now so I won't know. I'm negative, though, so I could be wrong.

I had it mid-July. Felt under the weather for a couple of days but tested positive for about 10 days. I've had worse colds.

Just over my first experience of Covid.started with sore eyes.could not explain it so did and antigen test and was positive.i had mild cold symptoms,I slept a lot and had little or no interest in day to day stuff,work,cooking etc…I am negative 6days now.my voice sounds like I have a cold but I don’t have a cold…that’s the only lingering symptom..I was lucky.

Tested positive for the first time last Tuesday (triple jabbed). At this point had no symptoms but we had attended an event in the company of people who later tested positive .
On day 2 I had a sore throat and by day 5 had aches, shivers and flu like symptoms. Thankfully the headache was only intermittent and mild.
Since then I have felt gradually better apart from a cough but I am still testing positive at day 8.

Tested positive Monday mid morning after feeling about heady Sunday night.

Been in bed in and off for two days with the worst thumping headache and had shivers the first night

The bone ache was really bad Monday night and Tuesday morning but seems to have tailed off abig tonight.

I am however totally wiped out.

I cancelled tues and Wednesdays work and am going to cancel Thursday and Fridays when I'm awake tomorrow as I'm client facing and still very positive.

Think I'm going to take the time to potter and rest as much as I can and maybe sort my books out

I had a super strong instant positive on Monday which is first day I had symptoms - although in hindsight food tasted a bit weird on Sunday.

Im fully vacc’d, feel not to bad
to be honest. Sore throat, very slightly breathless, snotty, mild cough, loss of taste and smell, woke up this morning feeling slightly dizzy but think thats just because Im so bunged up. Im a martyr to migraines and headaches but none so far.

Not really needed to take painkillers. Am off work as per their rules but I would feel ok to work.

I have had much worse colds & viruses, other than the loss of taste and smell (which IMO is my worst symptom!) this would feel exactly the same as a mild/moderate cold.

This is my first time having Covid

Yes I have, but then I caught a cold two weeks later and it turned into pneumonia! Doctors think it’s linked to the mild Covid I had… who knows!

Just tested positive for first time. Cough bit hot at night. Felt odd yesterday but fine to work, I was about to leave for the office but thought I should test due to the cough.

We’ve just tested positive for the first time and are triple vaxxed from last winter. It’s a bad cold with cough for me. Wouldn’t go to work with it, but it’s fine caring for a baby in the house. Breastfeeding so can’t take anything better than paracetamol and ibruprofen.

I tested 2 days after symptoms started and got an instant dark positive line.

My 3 month old also seems to have it with a mild cough and grizzliness.

I tested positive this morning for first time. Barely any symptoms so far . Fingers crossed. But I live in house with a unvacinated person so I'm banished to my room.. using bathroom with gloves and masks but tbh and I know it may sound gross I'm weeing in my special hikers receptacle and emptying out of my window. Number 2 hasnt reared its head yet. I'm hoping for a few days of constipation lol

I had it about 5-6 weeks ago. For the first time (or at least the first time I had a postive test). I'd say it was pretty mild. In fact I can't even remember clearly now what the symptoms were. I had enough symptoms to do a test as I was about to go to a yoga class. But I would have gone to the yoga class anyway if the test had been negative. And I carried on working as usual but online (university teaching). Just a bit of a cough/throat/tiredness I think. I'm 50 and hadn't had my recent booster yet at that point
