Has anyone had covid 3+ times?

Just trying to prove a point to a relative, just asked them if they could drop me off a covid test as I’m not well, they refused because I have had covid 3 times already and can’t possibly have it again 🤔.

So has anyone had it 3 or more times? I had it back in April (my 3rd time) am fully vaxxed.

I've had it nine times, all bar one confirmed by PCR/LFT (unconfirmed one was March 2020, prior to testing, but the symptoms were 100% the same as later infections).

Closest together infections were late October, early December and mid January with several negative tests between each (I test twice a week because I'm CEV and need a negative test before I inject my medication).

@PrincessOfWaiIs 9 times! You poor thing! Have you felt ill with it every time? Has it had any lasting effect on you?

I know quite a few people who have had it 3, 4, even 5 times.

It's not just once and done like chicken pox. It's like a cold/ flu. There are many strains, and you can catch it again and again.

Four times (each time confirmed by PCR test though just lateral flow for the last time at beginning of this year as PCR not an option). Fed up with it now. Many people with symptoms such as runny nose /sore throat saying 'just a cold' but they haven't a clue whether it's covid or not as not many people get tested these days.

My dd (15) has got again and this will be her 5th time. She feels quite unwell which I suppose is still classed as mild as she's not hospitalised but when she has no relief from feeling poorly it doesn't feel mild to her. 🙁

I’m just on my third bout. Am fully vaccinated. Hacked off with it now, this one has been awful and put me in bed for two days….

I've just tested positive for the third time. Early days but it does seem to be milder each time.
