Once - right now. On day 4 of feeling crap - hope it goes away soon

Animum2 · 03/04/2022 10:44

DH has had it 3 times

1st time April 2020
2nd Septemer 21 6 weeks after his 2nd jab
3rd time in February
He's felt differently every time, 1st time he was in bed for nearly 2 weeks, but the other 2 were just 3-4 days of illness

Firkinhavinalaugh · 03/04/2022 10:45

Currently got it, first time. Triple vaxxed.

Tbh it’s not stopped my daily life, I’ve felt rough and gone to bed early but other than that it’s been ok.

Animum2 · 03/04/2022 10:46

Also I and several people I know had various illnesses from Dec 19 to Feb 2020 and I think some may have been covid related

Waxonwaxoff0 · 03/04/2022 10:46

Once in August 2021.

8lue8ird · 03/04/2022 10:48

None as far as I know

Anomalocaris · 03/04/2022 10:49

None.

flowerfake · 03/04/2022 10:50

None. DH has. DS has. DD and I haven't got it yet.

TimBoothseyes · 03/04/2022 10:51

None.

Titsflyingsouth · 03/04/2022 10:51

We all had it at the very start. It absolutely flattened me.

DH and DS have had it once more since. I tested negative throughout.

TheCanyon · 03/04/2022 10:54

None that we know of, dh is cev and we haven't been overly careful the way year or so, intact he's away to the pub to watch the football. Dd11 is the only p7 that hasn't had it yet, dts 7 and another of their friends are the only p3s that haven't had it. Only 4 out of 27 members of the school staff haven't had it.

silentpool · 03/04/2022 10:55

Once, March 2020 but not confirmed as there was no testing. I wasn't that sick but had the breathing issues. I still have shortness of breath now.

lljkk · 03/04/2022 10:58

None I know of. No qualifying symptoms for me, either.

Some of my household members have been tested for compatible symptoms, all have had some tests as part of screening (always negative).

I know a lot of people who have never tested positive -- some of them are very frequent testers (usually screening).

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 03/04/2022 10:59

Once. All 10 of us who met up over Christmas had tested positive by the end of 28th December. And that despite all of us having tested negative on the 23rd or 24th.

Only one person had anything but the mildest symptoms, though, and for her it was like one of her usual very bad colds.

theluckiest · 03/04/2022 11:04

Twice. Two Christmasses on the trot. Really, really shit luck Sad

DearlyBeloathed · 03/04/2022 11:07

Never.

However, I think I may have had it in late Jan 2020. Had what I thought was the worst cold of my life, but was classic covid symptoms looking back.

skippy67 · 03/04/2022 11:25

Never. 24yo DS is the only one who's had it in our house.

Crinkle77 · 03/04/2022 11:29

None yet that I know of. I did have a bit of a cough/cold in March 2020 before lock down and wonder if it was covid. It's only a matter of time really but I'm lucky. I've been in close contact with 3 people recently who have had covid and not caught it.

mumofEandE · 03/04/2022 11:34

0 (I also work in a school!)
0 DH
0 DD (school / public transport / socialising - when allowed throughout)
0 DS (paramedic throughout)

My DH works with someone who has had it 5 times Shock

Have had all my jabs - just waiting to catch it one day!

NobbyButtons · 03/04/2022 11:46

None as far as I know, unless the cough and sore throat I had in March 2020 was it. I didn't catch it off my children when they had it. DD's teacher still hasn't had it, despite her own children and many of those she teaches having had it, whereas another teacher has had it twice.

Vampirethriller · 03/04/2022 11:48

Got it now for the second time. Much worse this time for some reason!

bigbluebus · 03/04/2022 11:49

None - 3 adults in this house .
DH has been working out of home throughout although in an environment with strict testing requirements. There have been one or 2 cases in his workplace in the last couple of months.
DS was living in a student house at the start of the pandemic but managed to avoid it - although one household member did test positive there. Since he returned home he's been working in a supermarket but has so far managed to avoid it.
I've been at home throughout so fairly low risk of catching it although I have done all the shopping throughout.
We have been living an almost back to normal lifestyle in the last few months although still avoid crowded indoor places (but we weren't keen on them before anyway!).
With rates as they are currently though, i feel that it's only matter of time before we get it though - and yes we will still be testing (DH will still be doing it for work and I'll do it if going near anyone vulnerable - we have a friend undergoing cancer treatment).

Bickles · 03/04/2022 11:52

Twice, May 2021 so double jabbed AZ. Was Alpha strain according to PHE. I had all the symptoms but relatively mild and recovered quickly.
March 2022, after a Pfizer booster in September. Milder than the time before.
DS9 had it both times as well, first time asymptomatic, this time had a cough, dizziness and fatigue.
DH once March 2022 after 3 jabs. Mild in the scheme of things but he’s been quite unwell and it’s taking him a while to get his energy back.

Jules912 · 03/04/2022 12:25

Once, three weeks ago. Given I still feel tired and achey in no hurry I I get it again!

GeneLovesJezebel · 03/04/2022 12:26

Never, and I’m a nurse !
