Covid Moaning Thread

I didn't want to hijack anyone's thread about testing & symptoms but feel free to join me here if you fancy moaning about Covid or if you want company whilst feeling sorry for yourself and / or feeling a bit anxious.

Im triple vaxxed and have Covid for the first time. Tested + yesterday, been having symptoms since Sunday. I don't feel too bad just yet, my chest is sore and I'm quite bunged up but I had very bad healthy anxiety throughout the pandemic so I'm just trying to think rationally and not loose my cool! Definitely helps to talk about it but I'm pretty sure DH won't be able to take it much longer and we are only on Day 2 🤣

Day 5 and I managed to get up and dressed.did a short walk last night felt tearful as I was exhausted.
Normally I work at least 12 hrs then jog in my break.
Thinking of going to work sat...bit unsure how I will be.

I’m day and really need to try to get out of bed for a bit today. Waiting for ds to get back from the shops as I actually feel like eating something for the first time in 5 days. So hopefully a bit of food will help me get up. Todays goal is change my bed and have a shower and wash my hair.

Day 5 that should say

Miserably joining. Had delta in Aug last year, felt very similar last night and have now got a cough, throat pain, muscle aches and I am so, so tired. Fed up already of isolation and feel crap.

Tested negative today and just cold remnants but would like to know when I'm going to get smell/taste back if others experienced same?!

I'm on day 10 and started ro feel better but today I've woke up feeling really stuffy again, headache, chesty cough and sore throat. Anyone else feel better then bad again?
@roastednut my ds lost his smell for 3 days. I haven't lost mine completely buy isn't the same if that makes sense. Hope everyone feeling better soon

Day 6 and still strong negative on LFT. Dressed for the first time though. DS keen for a ‘fun weekend’ as he was positive and really sick last weekend. DH and I can just about muster up homework supervision and washing up - not much in the way of fun!

Day 6 just managed a bath and hair wash and to make some toast but back in bed now. Feel very wobbly
