Did anyone get out day 5-6

We all have Covid. I am on day 7 now and my test is still blaring positive :(
I was wondering if anyone actually gets out before the 10 days.

Negative test took ages longer than day 10

Following this with interest... my tests have been super dark. Tomorrow is day 5 so we shall see....

DH day 6 and his was very faint today whereas it was super dark yesterday. Keeping fingers crossed for a negative tomorrow….

I’m day 8 tom I’ve kind of given up hope, I don’t feel great still so not optimistic.

Yep dd best friend who is 9 did and so did my db girlfriend. She was positive Monday, negative actually on the Thursday and Friday....but she’s not going back to work until tomorrow

Nope. Didn't test negative til day 8.

I didn't test negative until day 12. Felt ill another 2 weeks after.

I'm on day nine now and still positive, although the line isn't as strong!

I did. I was negative by day five. I had barely any symptoms, but no previous infection (to my knowledge).

Me - I was quite surprised as I felt v unwell days 1-4, but recovered swiftly after that. This was my second hit within three months too, which maybe helped - though I’m pretty sure I had delta last time.

I was still positive 14days after my first test!

My DH is still testing positive and it’s currently day 11. DS over Christmas tested negative about day 7, but probably had it a few days before testing positive. Neither DD nor I have had it yet, despite being in close proximity to DS and DH.

Ds definitely fainter today but didn’t manage to do his tonsils as well as yesterday without gagging. Still hopeful though!

My DC1 did.

He tested negative on day 5 and 6 (as did the rest of us, none of the rest of us got it)

We all tested on day 7 too and he went back to school. Day 7 was the Monday otherwise he'd have been back on day 6.

Yes, I did but I still don’t feel great. Day 10 tomorrow. By late afternoon I’m exhausted and sore.

Hopefully… I tested positive via a weekly PCR at work on Weds (result on Thurs) with no symptoms. Tested daily using LFT’s since then out of curiosity - all negative. Day 5 tomorrow so hopefully I don’t start testing positive now

My daughter had negative tests on days 4, 5 and 6. She has had it before though, and we hadn't been doing regular testing so she might have been towards the end of it when she got the positive test.

Day 7 for me. Day 7 for dd aswell.

I've also had it before.

I test neg on orient gene but my initial positive was clear on Flowflex. It was my last one. I'm a faint POS on NHS test day 6.

I wouldn’t bother isolating at all now ? Next week it’s not a requirement what difference does a week make ?

DH tested negative yesterday and today - woohoo! Today is day 8 for him.
