I'm on my last day of isolation, doing the whole 10 days because I was still testing positive yesterday. Of all the adults who I know who have had it recently (I'm a teacher, lots of friends are teachers or have school age DC, I know a lot of people who have just had Covid), none have managed to leave isolation early. Kids seems a bit different, which is something I suppose). Was this all just a ruse for happy headlines? It feels like it was never very likely that adults would be getting negative LFTs after 6 days, but changing the guidelines was just done to give us hope. Hope that has been dashed darn it!
