How many times can one person sneeze?!

Covid day 6. It’s 4am and I’ve just woken up to sneeze. This is the sneeziest I’ve ever been. I cannot believe how sneezy and snotty (sorry) this thing is! It’s like a team of tiny hamsters are living up my nose.
Other symptoms are intermittent back pain and crying at random non sad things.
Something tells me I’m still going to be positive if I test today.

I need to sneeze again.

I’m on day 2 and I’m sneezing so much right now. I’m wondering if this is an omicron thing, that’s why it’s so virulent. My cough is minimal like a sore cough at the back of the throat. And I have a very heavy cold, my nose is so snotty.

@Im2022 Day 6 and it’s better than it was - but still the sneezing. No wonder it’s so contagious - I’m a walking germ factory and distribution plant.

Haha! It’s a clever virus, finding ways to spread. I think my dh has it aswell now. He’s usually up for work, but can’t hear him. 3 of us have it at home and I’m the most sneeziest. The kids don’t even have a cold.

I’m still getting shivers up my spine and lower back ache. Definitely not as bad as flu, but a bit worse than a heavy cold. I can’t sleep and am ravenous for some reason. Colds usually make me lose my appetite!

@Im2022 I’m starving. I think that’s the other reason I’m awake. So far only I have it, two of my kids had it before Christmas. I need to get up and find more tissues and some biscuits. It’s exhausting - I hope you feel better soon. I was hoping I’d be back at work on Monday but it’s looking unlikely.

We’re still wfh at the moment, but supposed to go back in a week or 2. I imagine I’ll be drained if this goes on for a week.

You’ve still got Saturday and Sunday, fingers crossed for a negative and that you feel better soon!

I'm awake with it too. It's going round my family who all say they just feel really tired with it and have sore throats. I've got a full on heavy cold, chesty cough and insomnia so the opposite really! I haven't been boosted yet so I wonder if that's why our symptoms are so different.

I have allergies. Once i have a reaction it's all i do. 50 sneezes in one evening once.

Just to cheer you up(!). I sneeze all the time; I don't need to have a cold and each time I sneeze it's multiple times. My record is 14 sneezes all in one go. I also sound like a cat when I sneeze ! Over the years I have given much amusement to people just by sneezing.

Covid is so strange isn’t it! I have just woken up and on day 3. Started with a scratchy throat and felt ‘ill’. Yesterday sore throat gone but dry cough, exhausted and feeling very tearful, more ‘ill’.

Today sore throat back, feeling nauseous but starving. What is to come?!😬

Also now lower backache (that’s what woke me up). Feeling like a totally idiot since Wednesday as my brain cannot work the simplest thing out. This must be what they mean by brain fog...

So when I was filling out the T&T form, I was shocked to find “eye irritation” as a symptom I could tick. On Tuesday, I woke up and my eye was red, itchy. Had to go to the pharmacy for drops. But I was testing negative everyday until yesterday morning.

Hi all, I’m day 6 and was defo sneezy yesterday but okay today, covid has surprised me because it’s all been in my head, bit headachey, snuffley and sneezy. No temp, aches or cough.

If this was normal life I’d be returning to normal life today and I’m soooooo bored

I'm awake too and starving! I have sneezed a lot since being awake and really snotty with a raw throat! I am boostered but back in October. This is my second dose of covid, had the Kent variant back in December 2020. I wish the virus would just fuck off now! Banished to the bedroom for the next however long sucks!!!

My friend had a covid at Xmas and dropped half a stone.

I need more tissues and also curry!!!

Yup absolutely no happy ending to my covid experience 😢🤣

I was super sneezy back in November and I still have to blow my nose multiple times a day every day now. It seems to have left me with just constant stuff in my nose. It’s very annoying.

Day 3 since positive PCR for me. Throat still raw, intermittent coughing fits, temperature but only in the evening for some reason, nose like a tap and sneezing. Feel like poo.
All lateral flows twice per day for 3 days prior to PCR and all since are negative...they clearly don't work for me. Worried work are going to want be back on day 6 coz lft negative but I obviously don't trust them.
Ill see how I feel but I think I might have to do the full 10 days to be safe.
Am still doing work from home when I feel up to it though.

Oh yes....still eating as normal here!
