Unvaccinated friend is not self isolating, is a primary school teacher!

My close friend is a nursery/ reception teacher so she is a close contact of various children off school with covid at the moment. She has not had any covid vaccines and is not self isolating! She has obviously not been contacted by test and trace and her school must not realise she is unvaccinated. Should I tell them? Should I tell Test and Trace?

Teachers have never been classed as close contacts. We would have never been there!

I think you need to update yourself with the current rules. I work in a secondary school, my son had COVID and was self-isolating. I did not have to isolate, I did a LFT every day but was expected to go into work.

We have siblings at school where one has tested positive and the other still attends school.

Stop being so neurotic.

And of course, as it's a primary school, not a single one of the children is vaccinated, and nor will they be isolating if anyone in their family or who they sit next to in class tests positive.

I think those terrible unvaccinated children should all be reported!

OP. You seem to have been born about 80 years too late, and about 2,000 miles too far west.

It's none of your business at all, being vaccinated doesn't make a difference on if you catch covid or not, even if she caught covid off the students and still decided not to isolate, that's her choice.

And you say your a close friend? So youd risk your close friends job?
