Pcr - how long are you waiting for results at the moment?

Hi all, PCR sent in post Weds @ 5.30pm - still no result. Bit worried as email said test already registered so haven't completed that step. Anyone else had this? Usually had results back just over 24 hours later, appreciate its super busy at the moment. We are in London.

My second PCR (drive in at 2.30pm yesterday) came back at 5pm today, so about 27hrs turnaround.

I'm in SE England, and tests have had low or no availability the last few days.

I’m in Edinburgh and am awaiting the results of a regular test I do for work on Wednesday afternoon, plus another I did the next morning as I’m a close contact and started to feel a bit off with a sore throat. I’m a healthcare worker so had thought they would be back by now. If negative today is my last day of isolation for contact so I’ve got my fingers crossed they come in overnight.

I posted ours on Thursday (delivered at 8.30am yesterday) and am still waiting. So annoying, I got postal ones as I felt too ill to drive the 40 mile round trip to the drive through centre yet I know results there come back same day usually. I guess it doesn't really matter though as we know we have it.

Posted ours Weds PM - 1 came back yesterday, 1 lunchtime today and still waiting for the last one. No idea how 3 sent together get processed on such different timescales

My dad sent his in a priority postbox on Tues 28th way before the last collection time and still hasn't had his result yet!

He called the number yesterday morning and was told that his test had been in the lab for 58 hours and he would hear in 14-18 hours. Still nothing 36 hours later.
