Just that really.

No worries noble it was long and disjointed and exhausted! Smile

And yes, weird that something promised has actually come about! We’ll have to see how long they last (or how quickly they’re dismantled when the tories need to fling a bung in another direction.)

@DoubleShotEspresso there was a concession after the Good Law Project (iirc) pressured them wasn't there - for cases involving CEV children or household members?

Thanks yes I'm uncertain if we officially fall into the CEV category but suspect we will be in the coming weeks - feeling very torn and utterly let down by this farcical government and just so helpless. Infuriating

Not sure what they think that have done to minimise disruption to schools... 🤦‍♀️
The replies say it all really.

I wouldn't believe anything g they are saying tbh. Did this speculation not happen last year only for BJ to stand up and categorically stater schools would not be closing and then close them the very next day? (Sketchy details possibly due to living in Scotland but it was along those lines)

TheKeatingFive · 02/01/2022 18:11

The context last year was totally different, with everywhere under significant restrictions by this stage.

They aren't going to go from nightclubs being open to nationwide school closures in the space of 4 days.

This. We were in lockdown this time last year.

I didn't really think they were. My point was more that I wouldn't believe anything they say at this stage anyway.

@TheKeatingFive

Don't. That sounds too much like a challenge 😂
