No LFT's to be found

We are down to our last 3 LFT's, so currently not even enough for Christmas Day for our family of 4. Over the past week or so I have kept trying the government website and since yesterday I've rung / visited 7 different pharmacies. Not one of them had any LFT's or could tell when they'd be back in stock. This is Herts / Cambs. Anyone else got this problem? How are we supposed to 'be careful' if we can't even get hold of tests?

Try before 7.30am. I managed to do my last 2 orders that way, out of stock when I tried after 9am

I got mine online this morning previously there was a message saying call 119 if you need them and can't get them

If you have a FB account or Nextdoor app, ask there.

Otherwise, contact your local council and they might send you to one of their offices to pick some up.

I ordered some online about 8.30am this morning. Not sure when they refresh the stocks.

I ordered online mid afternoon yesterday- after traipsing round pharnacies- but who knows if I'll get them for Xmas. I work in the NHS and used to get a box through work, but we can't do that now Sad it's so frustrating!

There was one day where I had trouble but I was eventually able to get them. I've ordered 4 boxes this week with no trouble. It's interesting how variable it is. It's definitely worth trying every hour or two.

Yes ! Central London very difficult. I picked 7 up today which I needed to lick up Friday and have been trying to find since then. Boots in London have ‘problems’ apparently. Smaller indépendants may be a better chance ? Silly really as I’ve been out and about far more than planned trying to get them (none online to order for delivery).
Not a conspiracy theorists but beginning to wonder about this linked with daily numbers etc. Hmmm good luck op.

Do you know anyone who’s a teacher? Me and my colleagues cleared out any spare boxes we had in school to bring home for Christmas. I imagine lots of others did the same. I would happily let you have a box!

Have you searched for collection in nearby larger towns? Quick search for stevenage, Royston Cambridge throws up plenty of collection options.

I ordered some online a few days ago but they haven't arrived. Even though I've had the email saying they should have arrived and to check the tracking. Not had the tracking email either! I suspect this is a Christmas post issue as have other things that should have arrived too but no sign of any post at all today

I’m a TA and all our LFT’s are logged so definitely wouldn’t be able to give them out to other people. Thanks to the DofE only letting us just have enough for all staff for 3.5 weeks there is no spare. I handle the distribution of the tests.
Having said that though I’ve been able to get them online really easily if I go on early.

We have a local community/neighbours watch group who have some, have us 2 boxes on Saturday. Could be worth checking Facebook for something similar?

Doesnt mean they actually have them though, our local tiny Boots is a collection point but had a big sign in the window yesterday saying they had run out for the day
