Moderna booster after 2 Pfizer jabs. Anyone?

How did you feel if you had it in this order?

So first Pfizer I felt pretty rough the next day and went to bed super early.
Second Pfizer felt fine just a sore arm.

I've had moderna and wondering how I might be tomorrow?? I've got work in the evening and worried I'm going to be wiped out again.

Sorry to hear of so many feeling poorly! So far I feel fine and it's now been about 6 hours. Im going to head to sleep soon but I'll keep you all posted in the morning

I had this combo.

No symptoms after either Pfizer (apart from
Sore arm with 2nd)

Moderna…. Felt pretty queasy and spaced out but no flu like symptoms. I went to work,it was ok but I didn’t feel brilliant and sipped Diet Coke.

I had this combination. My arm was sore with all 3. Other symptoms:
Pfizer 1 - nothing
Pfizer 2 - very tired, mild headache
Moderna (had Wednesday evening). Started to feel a bit washed out lunch time Thursday. Got worse as the afternoon went on. By early evening I was shivering but hot, every part of my body ached and I felt exhausted. Dozed for the evening but woke just before midnight feeling dreadful. Took more paracetamol. Woke up this morning just feeling a bit worn out but all other symptoms (except aching arm) have gone. Not overly pleasant but thankfully short lived for me.

I had 2 Pfizer jabs while pregnant so I'm not sure if I was just tired because I was carrying a small child inside me or it was a side effect!

I had my moderna booster on Tuesday and read so many horror stories about how this floored people and they felt awful for days, but I was completely fine! I had a sore arm, but I don't really class that as a side effect as it's expected after a needle!

I had 2x Pfizer then Moderna
Slight sore arm with Pfizer, plus sore armpit with second
Moderna arm more sore
Day 3 headaches, chills. Then fine.

First Pfizer gave me a very sore arm, I could barely move it. I also felt a bit tired and run down.

Second Pfizer was better in terms of arm pain but worse in terms of feeling under the weather. Had the jab on the Thursday morning and had to log off early on Friday as I had an awful headache.

Moderna booster wasn't too bad arm pain wise. I had it last Friday afternoon and was ok until Saturday afternoon when I felt a bit bleurgh - joint aches and tired.

Until Thursday I had quite a bit of nausea and felt gassy though and had a metallic taste in my mouth. I think it may have been the vaccine but I take sulfasalazine which can cause nausea, so it could have been that. I was on my period at the time so not pregnancy.

My teens had this- mild headache and slightly sore arm, no other side effects from either type.

This is such an interesting thread ! I had my booster last night and after having 2 previous doses of Pfizer they said they were giving me Moderna- I asked for Pfizer instead and they said oh yes of course no problem in fact that’s easier.... so if they’ve got both you can ask for whichever you’d prefer. No side effects so far !

Sore arm, mild nausea, mild fatigue.

Very small price to pay

Feeling shit today. Queasy, weak, freezing and can’t stop shivering (in bed with electric blanket on!).

Still glad I had it, hoping to wake up brighter tomorrow.

I had two Pfizer and had moderna this morning at 9am. My arm is very sore and starting to feel quite wiped out.
My friend had extreme shivering after her moderna booster

Dh had two Pfizer then moderna yesterday his arm started to feel a little sore this afternoon but nothing else. I’m now a 3 x moderna and my sore arm kicked in faster than his

I've been fine all day, quire pleased so far. I do feel a teeny bit tired now but nothing like the first vaccine I had! Off to work soon but hopefully will sleep well tonight. Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon either!!

In case it helps, I have taken paracetamol this morning and this afternoon even without any side effects as a just in case, so may have helped.

I had two Pfizer’s and didn’t have any side effects apart from a sore arm. DP didn’t even have that. We’ve just been for our Moderna boosters a couple of hours ago so will see what happens.
I guess the only upside to cancelling all our Pre-Christmas meet ups this weekend because everyone has Covid is that if we do feel rough we can have a duvet day tomorrow

Update: slept like a log and woke feeling normal today so short-lived and manageable for me in terms of side effects.
