How did you feel if you had it in this order?

So first Pfizer I felt pretty rough the next day and went to bed super early.
Second Pfizer felt fine just a sore arm.

I've had moderna and wondering how I might be tomorrow?? I've got work in the evening and worried I'm going to be wiped out again.

I had the same reaction to both my Pfizer as you, and had Moderna yesterday morning. Felt ok all day today apart from a sore arm (was out and about shopping and running errands most of the day), but feel a bit rubbish this evening from around 5.30 onwards. Not horrendous but just tired and achey like I feel like I'm coming down with something.

LilyE1234 · 17/12/2021 21:02

Had my Moderna booster last night after having 2 initial Pfizer jabs. Woke up feeling ok, a little achy. Felt rough by lunchtime but nothing paracetamol hasn’t helped. Feeling much better this evening, just tired.

MrsWhites · 17/12/2021 21:04

Had two Pfizer, arm burnt for about 12 hours with first one, second I barely noticed it.

Had Moderna Monday lunch time, woke up during Monday night feeling like my arm was being ripped off, absolutely awful pain that carried on during Tuesday but suddenly disappeared that evening. Been fine since.

Thanks both!

If you remember about this thread, I'd love to know in the morning how it panned out for you!

I've got a fairly steady day tomorrow, couple of things. I might try to have a nap in the pm before work so that I'm not knackered!

I had a really really sore arm and neck and looked dreadful. Needed to take both ibuprofen and paracetamol. Was the worst of the three.

PurpleMustards · 17/12/2021 21:06

I'll try and update in the morning if I remember. I'm off to bed soon (early for me) because I'm very tired. I had covid at the end of October so was expecting to be feel worse after the booster for some reason, but so far better than expected!

Landof · 17/12/2021 21:06

Thanks all. It's really useful hearing how others were. Weirdly I only had it a few hours ago but my neck is already achy. I really hope I manage to sleep tonight though.

Thanks @PurpleMustards and no worries if you forget! I hope you manage to sleep well tonight 🙂

I had exactly this combination of jabs and didn’t even so much as have a sore arm with any of them, much to my relief.

Verbena87 · 17/12/2021 21:09

Mine was a couple of hours ago, achy arm and very tired but have been teaching all day so that’s not unusual! Hoping to avoid anything too nasty side effect wise, will try and remember to report back.

Landof · 17/12/2021 21:09

I feel that it's somewhat comforting to hear how others are feeling, even if we do all feel a bit rubbish. I think it helps knowing we are not alone!

I've had the same. Booster Wednesday afternoon and just an achy arm. Feel fine today. X

Turtletaub · 17/12/2021 21:11

Felt a bit crappy 24 hours after both Pfizer's. Moderna booster, felt a bit rubbish 24 hours later (had it in the evening), went to bed, had a big sleep and felt 100% by the morning! Really pleased.

Luredbyapomegranate · 17/12/2021 21:12

I had nothing on the first Pfizer, second I was mildly fluey the following afternoon. Moderna booster I was a bit wiped out the following day, and a bit off colour for a few days - but nothing major, I worked fine

Driposaurus · 17/12/2021 21:12

I had this combination. Was a bit knackered 24 hours after being moderna-Ed but mostly just a sore arm/shoulder with all three jabs.

Wednesdayafternoon · 17/12/2021 21:14

I've had this and felt absolutely fine :)
My arm is really soar though and the injection site is very red, itchy and swollen but other then that I've been totally fine!

FabricedeSauveterre · 17/12/2021 21:19

I’m 12 hours into the moderna booster and pzifer previously, and over the last couple of hours I have felt a bit wiped out, light headed and desperate to go to bed - but am being taxi driver for Friday evening cadet pick up

LIZS · 17/12/2021 21:19

Ds had Moderna booster yesterday after two Pfizer. Slept badly and has felt off all day, no appetite and had a headache similar to that with blocked sinuses. He's normally pretty stoic but is only perkiing up this evening after paracetamol.

dizzygirl1 · 17/12/2021 21:22

I've had 2 Pfizer and a moderna booster.
I've not had any sofe effects really.
1st jab I was really tired, otherwise all good

Sew3stitch · 17/12/2021 21:25

I had this combination of vaccines. Pfizer gave me a sore arm and nothing else. Moderna booster made my arm v sore (still a bit achey after 2 days but can move as normal now). I slept badly the night positive vaccine and was a bit achey the next day but paracetamol did the job and slept better night 2 and back to normal now other than slightly sore arm. Hope it doesn't get worse for any of you recently vaccinated

Sew3stitch · 17/12/2021 21:26

*post vaccine. Not positive!

usernotfound0000 · 17/12/2021 21:27

I had 2 x Pfizer and apart from a sore arm and feeling a bit tired, I was ok. I had my Moderna booster yesterday and I have felt much worse than after the Pfizer jabs. Initially it was a very sore arm, but then I woke up in the early hours shivering and with a fever and also feeling nauseous. Today I have been better but feel wiped out after doing small tasks such as taking DD to school. Right now I am just overwhelmingly tired.

PrincipalKraft · 17/12/2021 21:33

I didn't have a single notable reaction to either of my Pfizer jabs. I had my Moderna booster on Tuesday at midday. By midnight I had a temp of 39.1, shivering and my teeth chattering actually woke my husband up. I was stiff, very achey and tired for a couple of days but back to normal today. It was grim but manageable thankfully as I've got a tiny baby too. A cold flannel, tons of water and paracetamol got me a long way. Hope you feel fine OP!

KNain · 17/12/2021 21:42

I had two Pfizer jabs first time - very mild symptoms both times.

I had a Moderna booster on Tuesday lunchtime. By teatime I felt poorly and really tired. That night I felt terrible - arm was so painful, completely exhausted, headache, fever and chills.

All of Wednesday was awful. I somehow went to work but everyone commented how rough I looked. I felt lightheaded, nauseous, fluctuating roasting hot and freezing cold, felt like every bone in my body ached. I did the school run that afternoon and pretty much passed out straight after until 7am the next morning.

Thursday I felt much better. I had a headache and sore arm but that's all.

Today, I have a bit of a tender raised gland in my neck on the side of my jab (which I presume is related!). But that's all. Back to normal really.

Pinkstar28 · 17/12/2021 23:12

Having my booster tomorrow after having two Pfizer’s previously. Not sure which I’ll have tomorrow, was hoping to avoid the moderna after hearing so many stories of feeling poorly the next day but I think that’s all that’s on offer. I’m concerned after reading about the heart inflammation risks in the news today. I was fine with Pfizer 1&2 just a slight sore arm. Will update how I feel after
