Am I seeing things?

DD9 has come home from school with a sore throat and headache. There is at least one confirmed case in her class.
She did a negative LFT this morning but I’ve just done another and swear I can see a faint hint of a line, level with the top of the T. Her dad can’t see it…

Am I seeing things?

Some expert was on TV earlier saying if you are testing for an event, do it outside the venue. So, Omicrom happens fast.

Switch the photo to black and white and turn up the definition. That’s what someone on here did and the line was clearly visible. I can’t see anything at the moment though.

I can't see a line BUT ds tested negative on lft on the morning, his symptoms got worse throughout the day so tested again on the night and positive so it's possible.

But I’ve seen several sources now suggesting that you can go from a negative to a positive quickly.

LFTs aren’t indicated to be used with symptoms. I’d be booking a PCR

I don't see it but you are in a better position in person to see. I would book a PCR on the basis that she is under the weather and has a case in her class.

I can see something. But I can't tell if it's just where the background is pink.

If you have symptoms, stop messing around with inaccurate LFTs and go and get a PCR. DS had symptoms over the weekend with a negative LFT and I booked him a test no problem.

Please make use of the PCR testing, that’s what it’s there for. Stop thinking your saving tests for other people, we are all deserving if we’re ill.

Fwiw, I can see a line in both pictures.
