I saw this stat whiz by on Twitter, but could not find a source. If true, can anyone tell me why? Is it because London has a larger proportion of the young and children? It is alarming.

How do they get the numbers? GP registrations? Council tax? I suspect that London has a much higher population of transient or globally mobile people who are still registered with a GP but may have moved on?

For example I left London to live in NZ over 5 years ago. I didn't 'deregister' from my London GP. (Maybe I should have... I didn't even consider it!)I presume me and DH are counted in Lambeth figures as being unvaxed whereas we've had them done in Nz

I’m in a London borough, our vaccination figures aren’t bad for London but lower than the national average at 79% 1st dose, 71% 2nd and 40% ish for booster. We have high numbers at the moment and have done last few weeks, majority cases in children. DC2 had covid over half term, DC1 finishes his isolation with it this weekend.

Do know lots of people in this area and next borough who aren’t vaxed at all (mostly DHL’s extended family) and don’t believe in covid, they told us we were idiots getting the vaccine. They all ran a mile when our dc tested positive though, not seen them for months!!
