It reminded me of the spaghetti hoops I was just about to serve up for my kids wholesome supper Wink

PartyPrawnRingGames · 15/12/2021 19:25

Yep - it's the One Ring. Now wielded by Boris et al. What could possibly go wrong... Xmas Grin

FatFredsFriedEgg · 15/12/2021 19:30

It shouted 'Ringos' at me!

XenoBitch · 15/12/2021 19:33

Or... Funyuns!

the80sweregreat · 15/12/2021 19:40

thank you

i thought you were talking about NOW TV?

AlecTrevelyan006 · 15/12/2021 19:46

Some marketing guru (i.e. mate of someone in the cabinet) probably got a multi million pound government contract to come up with that

PickElaine · 15/12/2021 20:21

I could hardly concentrate on what they were saying for wondering this! Blush why does it have to be like a logo.

My dc were trying to remember all of the podium slogans.

Bubblty · 15/12/2021 20:22

@Adelerous

Maybe it’s a “thing”
Ooooh that's spooky
RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 15/12/2021 20:26

It's a subliminal message from Hula Hoops.. specifically ready salted Hula Hoops. They are in kahoots with 'big crisp'

nordica · 15/12/2021 20:30

Will this be one of the questions in the Downing St Christmas quiz this year?

Bubblty · 15/12/2021 20:31

What are they going to do for the P variant?

Whichcatthatcat · 15/12/2021 20:32

It's the Christmas version. It's one of the five gold rings! Smile.

In February it will become a little heart emoji for valentines day. Wink

alexdgr8 · 15/12/2021 20:34

@JanglyBeads

Yeah it’ll be omicron, which was originally the name of the greek letter O. Well, still is!
of one of them, the short o sound, as in cot. rather than the other one, which is the last letter in the greek alphabet, omega, which is the long sound, as in coat.
User9529057 · 15/12/2021 21:48

It's to emphasise the now

StoopitAutocarrot · 15/12/2021 22:13

“O” mumsnet I luffs you! Proper LOLing at these.

Theturnofthepoo · 15/12/2021 22:16

It matches the NHS booster jab ads.

Definitely
BorisBooster · 15/12/2021 22:26

There will be tinsel around the O next week .

It could be a message to the dormant aliens who have inhabited earth since the millennium to now take action.

Wigeon · 15/12/2021 22:33

@Theturnofthepoo

It matches the NHS booster jab ads.
I think the yellow O is like a protective ring from the Covid vaccine for Covid and the blue O is a protective ring around you from the flu jab against the flu.
Why is the ‘o’ in NOW a yellow circle?! 💉
megletthesecond · 15/12/2021 22:35

It looks like a cheap corner shop sign.

SmellyOldPartridgeinaPearTree · 15/12/2021 22:36

@XenoBitch

Yep - it's the One Ring. Now wielded by Boris et al. What could possibly go wrong...

One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,
One ring for Omicron, and in the darkness bind them

It's all starting to make sense!
Why is the ‘o’ in NOW a yellow circle?! 💉
XenoBitch · 15/12/2021 22:36

@Wigeon

When I see a glow line around someone, I think of Ready Brek.

WreathSupreme · 15/12/2021 22:44

Damn, I want some onion rings now.

That's probably not far from the truth.
