12-15 Year Olds - are they being offered two doses now?

Not sure if I imagined it, but I thought all 12-15 year olds were now being offered 2 doses of the vaccine, but I can't see this info on any government website.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or post a link please?

You lucky we aren't even get a single place. Mind you he can't have til early February so still time. Just wanted to get something in the diary so it's our choice of when and not just what's left!

@NeverForgetYourDreams I guess it's going to be one of those "keep checking 20 times a day" things for most of us!

DD12 had her second dose yesterday. It was 8 weeks and 1 days since dose one. She is cev. Was done as a walk in as the helpline had no idea how she’d access an appointment and advised we just turned up. We are in Scotland.

Thanks for the heads up, went on last night and there was a good choice (NW London/Herts/Middlesex).

ColettesEarrings · 18/12/2021 09:52

@mnp321 I'm in Herts, wad there anything showing in county for you? Nothing for us unfortunately!

mnp321 · 18/12/2021 09:56

I had a choice of Slough (which is only about half an hour for us), Aylesbury and one other which I can't remember. We're probably a bit fortunate in being on the border of Herts/Bucks/Middlesex and London.

ColettesEarrings · 18/12/2021 10:48

Ah, we're mid county so everything is a way away. Aylesbury showing for us too.

Just booked my teens 2nd dose (used their NHS number) on the NHS site but the confirmation screen says 1st dose.

1st dose was done in school in September, will it make a difference if we turn up for the appointment and the system thinks its the 1st dose?

I've just booked my teens 2nd dose after a 1st dose in school- and the confirmation email says 2nd dose. Looks like the NHS records haven't picked up the first dose for your child so you way want to contact the GP surgery to get their records updated?
ChristmasMad · 18/12/2021 11:03

Yes I'd wondered if it was because the records hadn't been updated. Not very good really!! Jab was mid September. I'll call the surgery on Monday and double check.
