The box on the left are from the NHS (which we are NOT allowed to use for travel), the box on the right is the one I’ve paid for to travel! 🤷‍♀️

Actually, it does annoy me that we can't use the NHS tests to travel.
People will be able to use an NHS lateral flow to get a vaccine passport to go clubbing. So why the heck should I not be able to use it to visit my parents in law?
If you are going to make people pay, they should be made to pay for any leisure activity, not just travel.

That's an interesting point about the cost to the NHS about the frequent testing - I suppose it's cheaper than the care of someone with Covid if the testing prevents people going out and spreading .

It is also a good point about the distinction between a holiday - which is a non-essential choice and visiting a bar or club which is also a non-essential choice . Is it about keeping UK businesses open?
