Just booked mine after seeing it on Twitter - I'm 36, last jab in July. I'm having to travel about 40mins but have to admit I'm relieved

I saw this on the info page, but when I tried clicking through to book anyway (obviously selecting the 'no health conditions' radio button) it said I was now eligible. All booked - thanks OP!

Let's hope that the shambolic lack of communication with actual vaccine centres doesn't result in them being turned away from pre booked appts, as had happened with over 40s this week!

Doesn’t work for me, still says you need to be over 40 and if I try anyway (like a PP) it says not currently eligible.

Thanks, it just let me book, although I am 39 so near the 40 cut off, and it’s been over seven months since my last jab in May, so maybe that’s why.

Also 39 - it let me book but the email confirmation says I will not get vaccinated unless I have a referral letter, despite me clicking no to that option. So not sure what to think now!

Thank you so much for this thread. It's been 6 months since my second jab and as I'm under 40 I was starting to worry about protection especially with the news recently. All booked for next week

Mine has done exactly the same. Maybe they haven't updated the automatic replies...? Hmm

Yes, just did mine! I think the referral letter is if you're having a 3rd dose because you're vulnerable, not if you're having a booster.

My DP is 31 and it will let him book, I'm 27 and it won't let me.

It allowed me to book as well!

@PeanutButter82 mine says the same! I don't understand what that means - is it just if you selected the options for CEV or health care worker and perhaps just a generic email? I'll be turning up anyway!

When's your booking. The first appointment DH could get was 5th Jan. I'm pretty certain they will have rolled out to 39 year olds by then.

I had heard they were planning to extend roll out this weekend though, so I don't think you should worry too much if your booking isn't Mon/Tues (cos they are slow to bother to tell the clinics). After that I suspect you will be fine

They really didn't have many slots available at all near us though.
