Aged 36.. just manged to book booster via NHS

I just managed to book my booster on NHS website, I am 36. I did get mine a month earlier than my cohort and I have mild asthma but it's not been letting me and I have been checking daily, so something must have changed.

I did read online it will open up to over 30s on Monday so I think it's the usual website opening up a couple of days before they announce.

Thank you! Just managed to book mine and I’m 32. I checked this morning and I wasn’t able to.

DH and I just booked ours - aged 33 and 34. No underlying conditions (although I'm pregnant but not sure the system knows or cares about that). We had our second doses in July/August.

Dh and I have booked ours tonight for just before Christmas, I'm 35, he's 39.

My Dd was sent a text by her gp practice, so she booked and had it. She’s only 27 with no health issues at all. She thought she’d get turned away but she didn’t.

Managed to book mine too. Just wanted to check - my confirmation email doesn’t say booster just ‘dose of the vaccine’ is everyone else’s saying that?

I'm 32 and got my text from my GP two weeks ago to book in. They seem to be getting through them quickly!

If you have a booked a 3rd dose you will not be able to get vaccinated without your referral letter.

I had my second Pizer in August, I’m
38 and have no referral letter.

Booked for Monday, thank you! My confirmation email does say to bring:

your referral letter if you have booked a 3rd dose for people with a severely weakened immune system

If you have a booked a 3rd dose you will not be able to get vaccinated without your referral letter.

Not sure whether they’ll jab me but it’s worth a shot (sorry)

That's for people who are booking a third primary dose because they are severely immunosupressed. Although the vaccine is the same (unless it's moderna in which case the third dose is the full dose, not a half) it's counted as part of their initial vaccine schedule and not a booster. Those people get a fourth dose, their booster, 3 months after that.

So in short, if you aren't in that category and are just booking a booster, then the comment doesn't apply to you.
