Anyone been on a night out and NOT caught covid?

Recently I mean. DS is ECV and has stupidly decided to go on a big night out tomorrow. I can't sleep now for worrying. He's only had 2 jabs and has decided that he is done with it all and is not having any booster or third dose. He's young and daft and while he feels invincible I can't sleep for worrying. Anyone been clubbing and not caught it? It feels like the perfect covid soup.

Same here - I’m CEV too and my dd is the one upthread that’s going out clubbing every night in Nottingham. I’ve been double jabbed and had my booster. She’s coming home for Christmas. I just want her to experience life the way I did.

Yes! Been on nights out, been for meals, been to concerts and NOT had covid. You need to chill out.

OK, maybe I'm being a bit over the top. This new variant has spooked me, I know he's young but I just want him to be safe.

Husband went to a packed gig three weeks ago and didn’t get it…but has just tested positive after catching it from 6yo son- who caught it at school.

Do you know that most people are going out and living their lives and not catching covid every week?

Not a clubber but in the last three weeks I’ve been to a football match, a rugby match, a few different pubs and two different restaurants. Also my mate’s birthday party at her house with 25 others. Am having coffee in a busy cafe right now.

I can't understand why he won't get a booster though. Flu jab is an annual thing. Does he refuse that too.

Neither myself or anyone I was with have caught Covid

He gets flu jab and we've had that argument. He just says "he's done with Covid" which apparently means also done with all sensible precautions too.

I think you are over-reacting. Everyone I know had been out. I was out last night with 5 of my PNG for a Chinese.
Last week I was out at a big do.
What's the worst that could happen? Still plenty of time for 10 days isolation.

Yes works Xmas party. We went to a restaurant, then a busy pub and then a nightclub.

28 of us went. No one has caught Covid. Was end of November we went.

Several times a month since we've been allowed, including big gigs. Not a sausage.

I was out on Saturday, went to a nightclub which was full to capacity and is underground in a sort of basement so I doubt there is much airflow. Everyone was dancing and mingling.
Myself and my friend who I went with are fine, and have both done LF tests this week (her for work and me for visiting a relative) and don't appear to have caught it. She is triple vac and I am double vac.

Yes, I've been out for meals, to bars, events at school, etc, and not caught it.

DD has been clubbing a lot and hasn’t caught it … despite sharing a drink with a friend one night who subsequently cane down with it.

Been out almost every weekend to clubs or gigs with over 4000 people.

Also cinema and shops too.
Don't even sanitise the shopping baskets at supermarkets probably forget to wash my hands when I'm back and haven't used hand santiser for ages.

Still not caught it.

Incidentally some of my team went in and one of the guys had it so they all had to test. He got it from his kid.

So im going to carry on living my life to the fullest and going out.

I'm only double jabbed.

Numerous meals out/pub trips, 3 largish birthday parties, a formal dinner dance, holiday abroad and a huge indoor music festival. All on the last 12 weeks, both DH and I fine. I'm just as likely to catch it at work but haven't so far.
