On what day did you start to feel better?

Mild symptoms started 6 days ago. For the last for days, we have felt really unwell.

When did you turn a corner?

Yeah, the lack of smell lasted a day or two. Seem to remember once I couldn't smell I was past the worst.

2x AZ jabs
Very ill with covid.
Day 10 marked improvement
The key is sleep IMO.

Two close friends, fully vaxxed, no underlying conditions, were pretty ill for six weeks. You have to treat this illness as individual to you OP. Some people are asymptomatic, right? Listen to your body and if your body is saying it's not better, rest and take care of yourself as much as you can. Having expectations that on a particular day you're going to turn a corner isn't really realistic. Most important is to get an oximeter and watch your oxygen levels. Please do this. It's an 'every home should have one' item now.
I do hope you're better soon.

I never felt very unwell, just decidedly rough as had all symptoms at once including off tummy - but turned a noticeable corner day 7-8. Back to normal after a fortnight.

Taste took exactly a week to return (was very relieved!) but smell is still an effort 2.5 months on 😳

Day 7 I was raring to go.

snowpiercer · 07/12/2021 12:37

Day 7 here and today is worse for me. I felt better yesterday and in fact tested negative on LFT yesterday but today feels probably the worse. The shivers, feeling fatigue, headache and just general aches and pains on joints :( my sense of smell and taste went on day 4. It's just comes in waves just as you think you're out of the woods, it's a gift that keeps on giving Sad

I started feeling better after 7/8 days .

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 07/12/2021 22:07

Days 1 - 2 bad
Days 3 and 4 a bit better
Days 5 - 9 were shit
Day 10 suddenly a jump up in feeling better
Days 11 - 14 back at work feeling rough
Day 15 jump up in feeling better
Bits of re-symptoms for another week or so, better by 3 weeks.
Taste and smell went on day 4, came back after 3 weeks.

I was back at the gym in a swimming/floating/gentle jogging capacity from day 11. The more fresh air I got, the better I felt too. Took vit c, zinc, vit d and a probiotic.

Day 0 - would just say it was like a cold
Day 4 - Properly poorly, sleeping, temp, upset tummy, everything hurt, headache,
Day 8 - felt slightly better
Day 10 - panicking as not much improvement to day 8 and it’s day 10 so I should be better
Day 14 - still very tired and odd headache but tons better and managed work
Day 20 - pretty much back to normal, apart from smell
