How long did it last if so?

Mine is and I'm assuming it's due to having my booster at the beginning of last week, but just wondering how long it might last/ when to consider it might be something else.

Yes, massively so after my first dose (AZ) and slightly less so after my booster (moderna)

floatinginmyhomie · 05/12/2021 11:30

Yes, it lasted a couple of weeks

Isthisthereaklife · 05/12/2021 11:30

Yes had it after both Pfizer jabs and thought same as you! Mine lasted for a couple of weeks the first time ..

YetAnotherSpartacus · 05/12/2021 11:31

Yes. Pfizer. Lymph nodes I assume?

Musicaltheatremum · 05/12/2021 11:33

Yes..after Pfizer (2nd dose) saw or spoke to loads of patients with it too. Lasted a few days for me but some people longer.

Tummelthecat · 05/12/2021 11:40

Minor swelling and slightly sore for a few days after the Pfizer booster. Nothing after the AZ jags.

Lushmetender · 05/12/2021 11:43

My son had lymph node swelling. He’s 13 and had covid. Injection was one month after. Lasted a few days. I’ve just had the flu and Pfizer covid vaccine. What can I expect from having a double whammy? Anyone have side effects? My arms are sore but that’s all right now.

AliasGrape · 05/12/2021 11:46

Thanks everyone- I had AZ for my first jabs and didn't experience it but like a few of you have said, had the Pfizer boosters. It was a day or two after that the soreness/ swelling started and been about 5 days now, its reassuring to know others have had similar.

How interesting. I had never heard of this before but was chatting to a neighbour who had his yesterday, and he mentioned this as a side effect for him. Pfizer.

CompetitiveMumming · 05/12/2021 11:59

Moderna 3rd jab last Thursday, armpit lymph still really kills & still feel fluey

Jedstre · 05/12/2021 12:02

Yes after second dose Pfizer. I actually reported it on ‘yellow card’ as it wasn't recognised as a side effect at the time (don’t know if it is now)

Yes, after 2nd Pfizer. Lasted over a week. It caused pain in my breast too (I assume from a lymph node down there). I had soreness for only 1-2 days after the Pfizer booster.

I have heard of lots of people who had the same, and told them when I had my mammogram shortly afterwards as apparently it can show up on scans and cause unnecessary worry.

Angel2702 · 05/12/2021 14:13

Yes lasted a few days, never had it before with the previous vaccines. I had Pfizer after two AZ.

potoforchids · 05/12/2021 20:15

Yes me! Pain for a few days but the lump was there for at least a weak and a half.

FenceSplinters · 05/12/2021 20:23

Yes I had a massive swollen gland under my armpit. It took a few weeks to go.

insancerre · 05/12/2021 20:29

I had this after my Pfizer booster
It lasted a couple of weeks
Just in one armpit though

Kyliealwayshadthebestdisco · 05/12/2021 20:36

Yes and it lasted a couple of weeks maybe slightly more - gradually but slowly improved but really and for about ten days. It is recognised as a side effect now (I’m a GP).

alienbaby · 13/12/2021 01:11

Fuck I cant take this anymore! It's been 4 days and I'm so squeamish about it, its awkward and sore and makes me feel queasy

LadyCleathStuart · 13/12/2021 04:42

Yes with Pfizer, lasted months and ended up referred to the breast clinic with it. It's only recently gone away and I had my 2nd ja b in August.

LizziesTwin · 13/12/2021 04:47

Yes after Moderna booster, lasted 2/3 days. I only noticed when washing my armpits. It’s a noted side effect on the ZOE app.

Onehotmess · 13/12/2021 04:57

Yes after my 2nd Pfizer. It was about 3 days.

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 13/12/2021 05:00

Yes! I had a booster on Saturday and had a sore arm that night, then my armpit started really hurting yesterday.

My other two jabs were AstraZeneca and I felt quite tired after the first one but nothing like this.

Emlou21 · 13/12/2021 13:06

I had my Pfizer booster on Friday morning ( last 2 we’re AZ) and by Saturday afternoon my lymph was sore on that side and and on Sunday my armpit was swollen. It’s actually not my actual armpit but more the side of my chest / breast. I can’t feel my lymph now but it’s like a puffy swollen area the size of my palm. Has anyone experienced it like this? I’m a worrier so hence looking it up here!

IntermittentParps · 13/12/2021 13:39

Yes, but only after my booster this weekend, not with the first two jabs.
Glad others have it too; that makes me feel less worried.

Badnightguaranteed · 13/12/2021 13:43

Yes! Painful!
