PCR Turnaround

Just wondering how long it takes for PCR results at the moment...

27 hours from yesterday morning in Bedfordshire

I posted mine at 3pm yesterday and nothing back as yet (Grtr Mcr).

I took DS2 for yet another PCR at 1.45 yesterday. Result came through at 2.30am.

Overall I am hugely impressed. It's non stop for staff at our nearest drive through and obviously those analysing the tests must be working through the night.

12 hours here in South Wales.. test at 10am yesterday, email at 22.10 last night. Positive

6 hours here earlier this week 😳 (drive through, previous tests there have all been 18 -24 hours)

Test 8am Tues. Results 6pm Weds

Norfolk.

That was Drive in Centre, I should add.

I had the quickest ever one yesterday (Essex). Test at a drive through at 11.30am, results by text at 3.30pm (negative).

It’d be brilliant if all results could be reliably that quick.

I'm at almost 29 hours in Greater Manchester. Walk-in site. I've been there before and never had to wait more than 24 hours. Last time it was only 12 hours! I'm desperate to know if DS can go to school/DD to nursery next week.

Wondering on postal. Sent DHs yesterday at 2. I imagine postal takes longer?

I posted mine on Monday afternoon and got the results 8am this morning, pretty quick I thought.
