Sturgeon is a joke.

@MLMshouldbeillegal

You do realise she makes these suggestions KNOWING that they are going to be knocked back for whatever reason, don't you?

Because then she can bleat on to her faithful supporters about how she is shackled by Westminster, and in an independent Scotland blah blah blah.

It's SO not about Covid.

Exactly!

Us Scots don’t all want independence you know! In fact, the majority don’t so please don’t call us “whingers”. I’m proudly Scottish AND British and certainly don’t hate the English- they’re my friends, neighbours, family. 💕

I liked NS at the beginning of all of this but I’m fed up of how she twists everything to her advantage ( with her eye on independence). We’ve voted, enough already. Get on with the day job.

This is most definitely not a fact, and won't be known until after the next referendum. I, for one, have never been surveyed about this matter.

You just have to look at the voting in May to see that, it's very, very close at present and the more evil we see from WM the bigger the shift to supporting independence is.

And then there's this...

A recent YouGov poll found that 70% of people age 18-24 would vote “yes” in an independence referendum when excluding “don’t knows”. A Believe In Scotland poll, commissioned by PanelBase, showed that the disparity with older voters ran even deeper: It found 72% of voters between 16 — the minimum voting age in Scotland — and 35 would vote “yes”.

These young people are not going to start supporting the union any time soon, and they're being joined every year by more just like them.

The union's days are numbered.
